Jerry and all,
No one has gotten the correct answer so far.

Hi George - I was just fooling around, to be honest - Had the short stem of a
Mac and the relatively pronounced lenticels and some of the color of a Paulared
= hence Paula McIntosh, with the names 'properly' separated.. I don't profess

I've seen quite a bit of variation in fruit shape and growth habit
(weeping factor) among old Limbertwig cultivars, but since they
usually have a lot of lenticel spotting, I'll go out on a limb and
guess Virginia Limbertwig. All Limbertwigs I've eaten have had a very
coarse/dense texture that

The picture is out of focus and it is hard to see the shape, no basin

Hi Randy and All:
What is a Paula McIntosh?
I guess you didn't mean Paula Red, more coreectly named Paulared.
These people that separate the letters red (also
Red) from the rest of the word bug me.
Be well, George
Looks like a Paula McIntosh

This has gotten interesting. I ate the apple yesterday -- rather dense
in hand, but flesh rather fine and somewhat soft, certainly not
crispy-crunchy, but not soft to bite (like McIntosh) either. Skin
intermediate in thickness, not unpleasant. Complex
which was named Fuji.
