What about running Crystal Reports reports on the Mid-Tier? Will everyone have
to buy BOXI, Crystal Reports or Crystal Reports Developer Advantage licenses?

Trond (all),
There are other cheaper/better reporting tools out there already.
It would not require a lot of work for BMC to incorporate something
like JasperReports (http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net) into the AR
System product too. (And there are other options as well. Maybe a more

That did it Bryan! I had checked the font size under Settings and it

the menu shows up correctly!

A more economical solution will be provided for customers who either wish to
continue using Crystal Reports (or Business Objects) through the web client or
wish to use any new technologies
ARERR is more likely a problem you are facing between your application and DB.
I highly doubt it is between your client and the load balancer..
Did you try connecting directly using the AR Server name instead of the load
balancer name? Does that connect with no problems?

That is what I told the web server team.
But they are telling me that Remedy must have a memory leak because
according to them the jvm size is sufficiant... Only the mid tier causes
the error etc ...
I looked at the known issues and I can't find nothing linked to this on
the Remedy side.
how much do they have allocated?I use over a gig of mem for our JVM
without much effort, and Mid-Tier is the only thing running in ours.
