As mentioned below I also found field 'Total Time Spent' on 'Work Order'
WOI:Work Info form. I made it visible 'true' checked by creating one work
order request, I didn't get any value in this field even request was closed.
Apart from this which I found as OOTB solution is
Oh yea, I forgot to mention we are running on ARS/ITSM 8.1 Patch 2 with Windows
2008 and MS SQL 2008

Good morning,
I'm running into a strange issue that I wanted to see if anyone has identified
before. Basically, I have an AOT that is tied to an Incident Template. As a
part of this AOT, I've extended the available fields to be able to assign
automatically to a specific Incident Assignee.
Quick question for you all. I brought a form from basic and converted it to
custom. Right or was I wrong in doing that? Then I went in and made some fields
required which worked fine but then I also made some fields hidden and this did
not work. I am not sure if the cache needs to be flushed

Did you try passing the value of assigned for status? You can try going to
the AOT and setting a default value for the Status field.
The error you're getting is probably from the Incident Interface Create form.
If I wasn't at RUG I could've tested this!

Submitter permissions. I believe that both Change and Incident use the
Submitter permission from SRM which limits the functionality.

Got it...so custom is just used when I create something totally new in Best
Practice correct? Anything, original say in Base Mode should be just be
overlaid in Best practice mode and not converted to custom correct?
