I agree with Jason on this. For custom installations it's easier to convert
Unmodified objects to Custom directly using Dev Studio.
One tip I would offer is ... to include the 'Owner' field in the Object List
Views for forms, active links, filters, etc.

your objects from 'Base' objects to 'Custom' objectsto do that,

What it takes to move from base development mode to best practice?
None of the ITSM application is being used in our system.
All customizations/code was in base development on 7.6
and same is moved to 9.0.01.
We're now planning to switch to best practice.
Is it possible? How?
