If the HP product supports XML Messaging, then the only useful solution in the
BMC market to solve the problem is the JSS XML Gateway. :-)
Before I read that post, I was going to suggest you build out a decent
webservice integration using the gateway, but now I'm spoilt for choice.
If you have licenses for it, you might want to use HP's Connect-IT software
instead of AIE. The benefit is that it uses the Remedy API to exchange the
data instead of going the database route. This will make things more robust
as well as easier to set up.

I have a bit of experience with what you are trying to do. One thing you
should be very careful about is that the data types used by AC are not
necessarily compatible with those used by Remedy. Ask the AC admin to get
you a data dictionary - it should be in the HP docs.
