Email engine refuses to send messages it thinks are spam

We have issues with Remedy refusing to sent outbound email due to its spam content. The problem is that this error also affects legitimate notices about tickets whose field data sometimes includes spam information. This can cause a group to not be notified about a case assigned to them. A

The error message you are seeing is coming from your mail server, not Remedy. You need to check with your mail administrators what the definition of spam is to determine why it thinks messages from ARS are being treated as such. Mark -Original Message- From: Action Request System

That message is not from Remedy. It is from the email server you are sending your emails to (i.e. Exchange, GroupWise, ...). Check with the Email server administrators on their rules. Fred -Original Message- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList)

Dont bother testing, Talk to the Email server administrator first, not only can it be content, keyword based, but it can also be how many addresses are on the TO field or CC field. Or it can be how many emails are sent / second from your system. On Sep 9, 10:21 am, Grooms, Frederick W
