FYI: Web Services has been around since ARS v5.1.x (I started using them with
5.1.2)
Also #7 is the default method that Netcool uses to receive data back from
Remedy

As everyone in list has mentioned, you will need to have NMS app create a WSDL
file.
The way we do it (for #3) is
1. Write a Java web-service client for external app's(like NMS) WSDL
