way to transliterate the Oxomiya word in Roman letters.

One minor correction: I was not the initiator of the effort to assist
Assam Historical and Antiquarian Studies dept. in digitally archiving the
Xaansi Paator Puthi collection. It was Jib Talukdar of Canada who proposed
our involvement.

Thanks for flashing the ASA newsletter in the net.The editorial on manuscript is insightful and motivating.The effort to help Assam through various community centers,located across the length and breadth of the state, is equally commendable.
