Ok, I'm tearing my hair out trying to get Asterisk moh streaming to work. After
several hours jerking around with icecast and muse, I tried to point my
asterisk system directly at two streams I know work.
This is what extensions.conf has:
[default]
mode=quietmp3
Try this:
musiconhold.conf:
[stream2]
mode=mp3
directory=http://pubint.ic.llnwd.net/stream/pubint_wnpr
extensions.conf:
exten = 1234,1,Answer
exten = 1234,2,MusicOnHold(stream2)
exten = 1234,3,Hangup

Hello to all
I do not know what is causing choppy music on hold
when call comes in through E1 card (PRI).. but this channel info is somehow
strange.. We use Alaw over PRI (and I think its format number 8),
But why is WriteFormat at 2 ?
Thanks!

Hello list,
I have the following problem.
The behavior of music on hold is not constant on my
queues... Sometimes it plays well, sometimes it becomes mute in the middle of
the wait and sometimes it doesn't even start.
mpg123 is installed on my server.
Is there something I am missing???
I just installed asterisk 1.2 rc2 and ran a 'make samples' and asterisk
starts just fine with no errors in the logs. However, if I issue
a reload I get the following:

If a call comes in thru an agent channel (be it from queue or a direct dial
Agent/100) and he puts the call on hold,
there is no MOH, if i dial the extention the agent is logged on to and he puts

Is this solveable? i'm using 1.0.9 at the moment.
Kind regards,
