I fear the custom build is well above my pay grade!

Hi Paul,
Feel free to ask for help building a custom image. The [Astlinux-devel] list
is preferred for custom build questions:

Lonnie,
I am using Wanpipe but am trying to put together a platform on which I
can build a custom image in the future. (If I can get past some weird
Crosstool-NG errors.)
Thanks,

An inquiry to our users,
For future AstLinux versions after 1.2.8, we were considering not including
wanpipe support in the default, standard images.
Anyone who wants Sangoma Wanpipe card support can still build their own custom
image.
Wanpipe occupies about 15% of our image size and I would e

Recent trunk and 0.7 builds have grown considerably over the 0.6 release
sizes. In an effort to minimize this growth, we're looking at several
areas. My understanding is the wancfg utility really doesn't function
on Astlinux due to missing perl dependencies (that we won't be
fulfilling).

Would this be easy enough to install in Astlinux?

Hi Tom,
the A500 seems to have the same size like the B700 which I
ile I built on the 5501
using FreeBSD 7.2 (which has its very own set of problems with Sangoma).

Can anyone confirm this? I've been quoted a good price for an A500
with one BRI
wancfg_legacy
seems to do better than wancfg
but now no w1g1 in ifconfig
will fiddle and see what I can make it do..

Did you try:
wanconfig card wanpipe1 dev w1g1 add
Better yet, try "wancfg_legacy" and see if that works...

Im not with the box at the moment, so cant check what I did..
but I did have to manually create the /etc/wanpipe/wanpipe1.conf
I can get "wanrouter status" to now say that its happy..
and I get no alarms.
however asterisk dosnt show any zaptel hardware or PR
I have an older ( if that makes a difference ) A200 card with 2 each FXO
and FXS that I eventually want to get working on an HP thin client. I
use the generic image on these.
Not as smart as you guys but at least I could test, if that would help

The only hardware I have is the S-518 DSL card. I'll try to do what I can.

What do you get from "lsmod"?
I'd also try:
wanconfig card
Without being on the box, it's hard to say.

Darrick,
I recently got this working but it was tough...
Sangoma has made many several changes in
Ok. This did work at one time. I have no Sangoma hardware to test with
so I'm not sure what the problem is. I'll have to go back through the
changelog and see what changed. It would be helpful to know when this
stopped working.
What happens if you do the following, then run wancfg?
mkno
I never got mine working either. I get the exact same error message.
Thanks.

Hi,
I successfully installed Astlinux 0.6.2 on a compact flash and the
machine is booting up nicely with a Sangoma A200 card installed (with
HWEC and 4x FXO ports).
I then submit the wanrouter hwprobe command to make sure the system can
detect my Sangoma card and it does :
pbx ~ # wanrouter hwpr

Hi,
From what I can read on AstLinux, the drivers for the T1 cards from
Sangoma are included in the AstLinux distribution but I can't find
anything about the analog A200 cards.

Hi,
From what I can read on AstLinux, the drivers for the T1 cards from
Sangoma are included in the AstLinux distribution but I can't find
anything about the analog A200 cards.
Is there any reasons why the driver for the analog cards are not
included in the distribution with AstLinux?
Thanks
