Hello gryff,I grabbed the ag lifetime upgrade at the 31th of december and i am still enjoying sryth a lot. This was probably the first browser game i started to play years ago, when i became blind. and that was a really new impression after playing runescape and such.But i didn't got the clue at that point of sryth. But last year, the 31th of december i started again. and i am still following the character build wiki on the sryth wiki. Hello vandetta's,I was wondering, how i could show you that i am glad that so many players are playing this game. And i finally got an idea how i would do this.This event will be called free gift Friday. The way of doing this is pretty simple. I will ahnd out a donation to the whole community. The only thing you should do, is claim it in time. When i am up and running and when i have time during the Friday i will hand it out.I hear you probably think: "when i have time during Friday?", my only answer to this is, that the prize will be awarded on the Friday for sure. @Vladaar,I did use get all corpse, but noticed some things were missing, for example I was wearing the jade anklets from jonah's quest, but when I got all the items from the corpse they were missing. Similarly, when I got killed by the gate guard, my helm, my necklace and some other things were missing as well. I assumed this was a usual penalty. As to xp percentages, I had about 240 k xp (I was just ten away from getting to level 9), then I got killed and was down to zero xp and had to do the hole level again, this has happened all the three times I have died so far (two of them in quick succession to that annoying gate guard). I also am getting a bit stuck with the grinding in kirwood swamp, the abyss and the merchant's discovery, sinse it is seeming to take a long time to get xp even with the double xp boost and I don't have many areas to play in, and all the quests I've found are level 10 or higher. I've tried the area command with 
 a level range but it didn't seem too specific, and I don't seem to be able to find any more quests, either in pelleon or in some of the nearby cities, which is a shame sinse questing is what I like most and what keeps my interest going in a game and was one of the things I really! enjoyed up until level 6.

It's a single player 4x space stratogy game which runs as an independent program and isn't based on a browser or mud connection rather like anacreon. Though it's it's own program, it does have readable text, though whether enough for all the  opperations needed to play the game (especially the star map), I'm not sure (the map is apparently somewhat diabolical even if you can see). I believe it can be multiplayer somehow, though how I'm not sure, and just getting the single player to work was hard enough. Feel free to have a go, though i confess after just a morning with the wiki trying to even set up a game let alone fully play one to see about access, I  confess myself defeated.

I agree with sevrior you can really make some unique decks even with the low amount of cards. before decks got deleted, I had about 10, and sevrior had a pretty penny as well. I went hunting for someone that could make another yugioh mud with more cards and different rules, but I stopped once I seen the demand for card games is not to high in the audio game community. I was also going to have them do blizzard's card game hartstone that game is amazing

Okay, so I'll explain more the Jonah thing. I actually copied Jonah's message, conveniently on one line only, and went to Amelia, and didsaythen pasted the message that I copied. It worked every time before. Also, will there be any plans to make the sounds available to any iOS or Mac game clients? I know Tintin++ is for mac, but I've heard that some dependencies for sounds are missing on the Mac. On iOS, the preferred MUD client for most is MudRammer. This supports triggers, aliases, and gags. It'd be interesting what you could do, working with the developer if you don't already have an iOS device.

@devinlpraterSo are you playing on your phone?  My soundpack will work with any mudclient that will use .wav sound files.  tintin++ actually works with many different platforms.  I use it with my linux computer.  I have heard rumor that someone uses their phone with tintin++ I think they were discussing it on the tintin forums anyway.  I have nothing to do with mud clients development though, that is up to the developers.  To me it only makes sense to have sounds working if you want someone to use your mud client.

Unfortunately nobody responded yet and I do agree, I think rebuilding it from scratch would probably be best.I don't have much experience with Python but I'm going to be building out an audio engine in C++ that will be a library that can be used. We could just use the same audio engine there, I don't see the engine taking more than 4-5 months to develop the basics for.I think right now what would be best would be to produce an "undertale engine" that defines all the basic bullet types. Then we could make some simulations of some of the boss battles.In terms of Genocide mode, most people don't like playing it because of all the grinding that's required. Some of them require you to kill more than 20 encounters which is kind of ridiculous. This is especially considering that the whole point of the enemies is to have them be more human than monster - as shown with characters like Snowdrake.

Hi.@devinprater,There's a problem with trailing spaces in that particular quest, just remove the spaces and it'll work.As for sounds, the mud uses MSP so if your client supports MSP it shouldn't be hard to get sound.@dark,As far as I remember ice caverns should be good for your level, though as I'm currently playing a dragon I have to level in areas higher level than my character.If any of you need help with anything my character's name is Deventh.

@Dark, as long as you consider everything and avoid mobs that look too tuff you should be fine. Also, consider crafting some equipment, as Jonah's quests don't cover all wear locations and crafted eq generates with random stats so you might get something better than what you currently have.

Hi guys, I am very happy to announce that the 3rd map in Victorious's Demon Wars Cycle has finally been completed and is now released to play! It took over 2 years, but the wait was well worth it. Map 3 is a dungeon-crawl-style  RPG where you invade the demon fortress. It contains tons of unique features, new sounds, equippable and expendable items, and more.Note that when you download the zip file, you will get a complete installation of tactical battle, so extract it somewhere else where it won't interfere with other map packs. The reason for this is that the scripts are finicky, and should not be manipulated unnecessarily. @Devin, The problem with sounds on Ios is even if mudrammer supports msp, how do you download the pack and get the sound files into the client? The only way to get files onto an Ios device without going through Itunes or similar is with a file transfer utility such as dropbox, and even then, I doubt you'd be able to get the wav files into Mudrammer withoutt gaol breaking the phone to access the ap's directory. Unless Mudrammer has some way of importing msp enabled soundpacks, (and I've not heard of one), I doubt it'd work. I'll confess this is  one of the reasons I've never looked into getting muds running on an Ios device and prefer to use Vipmud on my laptop. @superantoha, I saw the ice caverns, but the level range listed was 5-20, so I didn't want to risk running into anything too tough too early. Also I'd much prefer and enjoy going to areas for quests rather than just random slaughter, indeed it surprises me how
  quickly I got to level 6 how slowly the levels past that point are going, though that is possibly because of killhistory reducing xp and lack of quests to try out.

Unfortunately nobody responded yet (outside of the "how does it work" comment) and I do agree, I think rebuilding it from scratch would probably be best.I don't have much experience with Python but I'm going to be building out an audio engine in C++ that will be a library that can be used. We could just use the same audio engine there, I don't see the engine taking more than 4-5 months to develop the basics for.I think right now what would be best would be to produce an "undertale engine" that defines all the basic bullet types. Then we could make some simulations of some of the boss battles.In terms of Genocide mode, most people don't like playing it because of all the grinding that's required. Some of them require you to kill more than 20 encounters which is kind of ridiculous. This is especially considering that the whole point of the enemies is to have them be more human than monster - as shown with characters l

Yep, I found the feather of truth but I couldn't get it to work for some reason. As to ice caverns, I went there, was happily  killing things (I even found a quest), but then met one stronger arctic changeling and died for some reason. On the plus side I think I now realize what was wrong at death, I need to do "get all corpse" several times to get and wear everything, which is why I thought some stuff was missing. On the down side, once again all my experience goes by by and I don't think I should try ice caverns again, if the same monster type can be so wildly different in terms of it's affectiveness. Gr!

hi I just got a Blu Energy X android phone from amazon for $109 with a 1.3ghz quad core processor 1gig of ram and 3gigs of useable storeage and an 8mp camera with flash and autofocus with 32gigs micro sd card expansion and ability to put apps on the sd card. And it has talkback. I recommend this phone for blind people. at first swipe gestures won't work so you'll need to use explore by touch. when you enter your password on setup for the first time go to language and input and switch to google keyboard, also install google now launcher. go into settings and about and wireless update and update your phone to the latest android software firmware. once updated all talkback gestures work also go into play store and update talkback. this phone works great for gps and OCR and its only $109! I've actually crafted a lot of stuff, Because I lost my equipment to    forsaid   greedy undertaker. @DarkI don't know if you realize it, but you can multiplay in the game too.  The code will prevent you from using multiple characters to attack another player, but mobs yes you can attack with multiple characters grouped at same time if you want.

I get the feeling it's the items and ATs you get that are the limited time part. But I've been playing Sryth for eleven years and have enjoyed it consistently the entire time. I don't think you'll need more, since they'll keep respawning over and over so you can collect for a whole day 50 is just the max number of gold coins you can get on a single map of those, even though the item maps, in which items keep respawning, can hold up to like 125 items.Soon I'll be playing the hardest level, called Legend of or something like that, though I'm sure it'll take me a long time to beat it

@Hhurstseth, my lady's sister did indeed make a recording of the wolves, I've stuck it on sendspace Here, it's not the best quality as it was taken on her phone and my lady's sister isn't an audio expert, but it should give everyone an idea of how awesome being amid fourty wolves howling was.Well today has passed very slowly sinse my lady is flying in tomorrow and that will be the start of our actual life together. I did listen to the big finish treasure island with none other than Tom Baker as Long Jon Silver, which was awesome! One thing I'd forgotten (sinse it's probably about 25 years sinse I first read the book as I did so at the age of 8 or 9), was that there is a blind villain in there! It's sort of amazing to have a rather cool blind pirate who even threatens to break people's arms, though I was glad in the audio drama they changed his death to make him more menacin
 g. In the book all the pirates leave him after ransacking the main character's inn, and he's stuck begging for them to come back before getting ridden down by the pursuing possie with the revenue. In the audio drama the pirates all leg it in fear but Pew is certain he knows where the main character, young Jim Hawkins is so lunges across the road towards him not giving up and is then ridden down by accident by the   revenue.Well if your going to have a blind villainous pirate, better for him to be an effective and bad to the bone blind villainous pirate than be really pathetic . Tom Baker of course rocked! they even had a rather catchy tune for "fifteen men on a dead man's chest" which was nice. AMusingly enough, all our modern pirate cliches, shiver me timbers, peg legs, parrots saying peaces of eight etc generally come from Treas
 ure island so it was cool to hear a great audio version and Big finish were good as always. One thing I found interesting is they really didn't change the morality of the book either.The pirates were bad treacherous pirates, because they didn't look up to the "gentlemen born" as it was put, indeed the captain who complained about someone being "too soft on the men" and was vindicated was exactly as he was in the book, so Stevenson wasn't adulterated for a modern audience. I was amused though at the ending, sinse where as in the book Long John Silver just vanishes, in the audio play there's a little epilogue of him on another pirate ship going back for more of the buried treasure which was cool! . Other than treasure island I've been trying to destract myself with different things, failing at six dragons, trying to
  write another book review, and generally hanging on tentahooks. Of course, everything will be fine once we're together, it always is.

Well I'm afraid I'm having zero luck with this game at all. I always fall down the first gap. I've tried edging towards it, but the sounds and controls  are quite imprecise, ie, the gap doesn't quite sound in the center of my headphones, and however I try holding space and arrows I jump, I hear myself land then I fall to my doom! Equally, the steps seem imprecise, though sinse Grif seems to move with a more realistic, console style movement pattern than in descreat  steps, ie, the more you hold down the key the more your walking speed changes this makes sense (this is how games like MArio work).However Either the sounds aren't playing properly  or I'm doing something wrong in the game. A shame, I was quite pleased when i saw it ran properly on Xp, anyone got any suggestions for that first pit, in case this is a gameplay thing rather than microsoft's silly fault fault for not giving  the only good version of
  windows propper upgrades?

Hi,I installed the trial version of B4A, but I can't even navigate the editable text viewer, and most of the program is inaccessible. I was able to configure the Javac path, but other than that, I can't edit text with it. No, I have to copy it to my clipboard, go into notepad and edit it there to even develop apps. I think that what we all need is an accessible IDE that gives us ease of development while at the same time giving us an easy-to-program in language (excluding Java, of course...)

Well I have now tried the game out which is good, I'll also note I haven't read any of this topic at all so haven't heard other people's opinions yet. First, I really like the sounds and audio here, and the tilt control method is fun, at least once I got the idea of just how far I needed to tilt the phone to engage left and right. I also like the fact that the tilt can be controlled a little more precisely than in the only othher space invaders style game I've played for Ios. The missions and such look nice, also the idea that you get different ships to fight. I would however like to see some sort of unlockables in the game as people have said, sinse while I do gather that you will get more points and upgrades for completed missions, I do wonder how much harder the game will get. UPDATEOk now if you type journal quest number, it will tell you more information about the particular quest point your on.  For example you have to tell a mob exact words.  It will remind you the words and what mob you need to tell.  Of course I have to add this to all quests by hand, so please use the bug command to report different quests where phrases must be repeated exactly and I'll get them in.

Hi all, registered just to provide a link to the old (unofficial) Sryth forum that existed before the more recent forum was taken down by the GM:http://shadowwolf47.proboards.com/I got involved with Sryth right when they moved to the new forum, and stopped playing (until this month, lifetime membership deal) soon after that one went down. The old forum still had/has people posting to it, but looks like activity is gradually declining just like everyone else's enthusiasm here.Also, sad to see that the Wikia page also has deteriorated since I've worked on it. I echo the other opinions that a forum and interacting community can do a lot for maintaining a strong player base, and feel that this is a large deficiency that instead should be supported by the GM. But with no forum, no promised "in-game messaging" (I think? Haven't played too much yet), no streamlined mobile support (I think I sug
 gested that several times to the GM many years ago), this will be a game that I can only half-heartedly get into, on my desktop PC, and socially isolated.

Hi dark and all.to be honest till you get your wings you need to be running and jumping when the pit appears, you have only a couple seconds to do that.at the end of the level there is a big pit with a roon, and you edge to that and jumpMost of the game is quite simple, edge toward pits, hit enter when in streams or rivers, and on cannons.Bar the tone sequences which are controled with the arrow keys down is the lowest up is highest and the left right keys control the other 2.You basically just run and hit run and hit.There are a few bugs ofcause.sometimes edges do not sound especially in the first level, also the game will still crash randomly, if you play long enough or think you are attacked usually after the nial realm and again may do this on the final boss realm in the mountains.To get round this I usually exit and break from the game at each couple realm.However since you spam instead of dieing it doesn't matter if 
 you die.However if it crashes you may have to start that level again.Also once all those enemies have to go golden there is no challenge at all.but for all that its a good game.I have played it fully at least 10 times.

Yeah, Sebby gets it; glad someone does.All of the screen readers as of late are currently responsible for practically taking each other's features and imitating them to the point that every update that comes out nowadays is just another argument waiting to happen as to who developed this or that thing first.  I was once a member of the team that suggested that those who were willing to be satisfied with Voiceover the way it is were settling for less than progress.  I'm not seeing any change in windows world anymore either though.  This frustrates me.  Long gone are the days when I could look at update pages and be jealous because I knew someone else who was probably going to have a shot at using updates I could because they were just, out of my price range.  Today, NVDA is free, JAWS is still expensive, and WE is... Well, somewhere in the middle, I guess.What I like seeing, however, is a screen reader that is, no matter what version o
 f my operating system I'm using, going to remain intact and usable, as soon as I get to my system.  Windows 10 came out, and I was sitting here on the sidelines wondering if I should upgrade yet.  Should I upgrade yet?  Have the kinks been worked out?  I sit around and reflect on the idea that Apple users are not worrying about that and, dare I say it?  I'm jealous!

Even though I agree that more choice is good in some circumstances, I already have four Windows screen readers, and probably still don't have complete and accurate coverage. Of course the flip side is that I have the most choice on that platform within the bounds of competing screen readers, and also more across-the-board coverage of apps than on any other platform. This is imperfect, but passes the requirement for accessibility in many cases. Even despite this, I use Windows nowadays very little, because everything else I need is on Mac. That's my personal profile; yours may be very different.On the interesting question of growth, using Windows felt a bit like stepping into the past, since the screen readers have essentially not changed. This was pleasing to me, in a familiar kind of way, but it's depressing how far these screen readers are behind the state of the art in user interfaces, like touch. Even exploration of screen layout is something that hasn
 39;t got much (any?) better on Windows, and the Tab key is still the most natural way to reach every control. VoiceOver in OS X is not being developed much either, but I feel that the worst part about that is not having bugs fixed and efficiency improved, rather than because there aren't any potential future revolutions yet to come on the desktop. Indeed, the latest version of VoiceOver simply adds features that iOS users will appreciate, for avoiding the interaction discipline. Very buggy, of course.As for Narrator, what Nocturnus was saying is that it's an improvement.  It is!  Using Internet Explorer, you can use Narrator to browse the web--very slowly.  That's good enough to get NVDA installed.  And in fact Narrator smells very similar to Apple's VoiceOver in the multi-key commands, which while they require more fingers, do at least make it trivial to separate screen review from on-screen focus--an important advance for full accessi
 bility, IMNSHO. Perhaps you could try harder to use it and see how you get on with it. Or ChromeVox--that's another screen reader in a very similar style.Just my thoughts.
