After you download the tool, run it and choose to download an ISO file. Choose what edition of Windows you want and wait for the file to download.Once that's done, create a new virtual machine and choose the ISO file for the virtual DVD drive and start the VM. If everything works correctly, it should load the Windows installer. Give it about a minute and then press Control+Windows+enter to start Narrator. At this point, go through the standard Windows installation process to install Windows 10 onto the virtual system.

As far as I know, you can't configure port forwarding on a cellular network. All those settings are controlled by the carrier. Even though you're using a hotspot to connect the Pi, it's still using the cellular network via your phone. The only way I can think of getting around this is to use a VPN, but this will require everyone that wishes to connect to also use the same VPN.

Off-line registration as in unlocking the full version of a game? Impossible.  Well, you can do it, but it will be terribly insecure.  I  Learned this quite a bit ago. If you do not want a user to have a chance of modifying something, store it on a server and do not ever expect validation from the client.  Don’t ever send it to the user, either.

As some may know already, eloquence on Android, is no longer on the ‘play store.” Code Factory does not have the expertise to update the Eloquence app from 32 bit to 64. Either that, or Eloquence on Windows is a higher priority. On Android, your only voices from Code Factory now, are the ‘Vocalizer Voices.” Each voice, is 3.99 USD. Must I say though, CF voices mirror ‘Freedom Scientific” voices, and have definitely improved with their latest update.

Post 44, I will take that into consideration  The next time I update the game. Post 42, everything has a purpose. Nothing is totally useless. As for having many variables, that’s the whole point. The game does have a lot of things to keep track of.  Part of it was to see how much one can handle before going crazy.

Hi All,I wanted to write and share something extraordinary, a newly-discovered fully accessible space strategy game. In it, you will take command of one of ten races, as you attempt to conquer the galaxy. You'll have to take charge of their technology research, ship design, and colonization, and figure out how they'll handle the problem of other races who are eager to do the exact same thing.If this seems familiar, it's because Master of Orion is a classic strategy game, and has been a favorite of sighted gamers for years. It was never accessible for the blind, until a programmer decided to re-create the game engine and add a text-based interface.The result is completely playable for us, including all the game features, ship design and combat, diplomacy, etc. The one thing that is missing from the text-based release is the game audio, which while it's nice is hardly essential.I've placed the game data, an accessible manual, and the command line UI in a zip file at this Dropbox link. Unzip the game into a folder and run "orion.exe." THe 1oom files are for other interfaces, which are not accessible. I'm happy to answer any questions or offer help, the command line is a little cryptic but fully functional, and just takes a bit of getting used to. It's possible to play the game through to completion, and do everything you can in the graphical game, even if you might in a slightly different way.As a tip, press "b," to cycle your planets between building different ships. There's supposed to be a way to specify which ship type you want more directly, but it isn't implemented in this release yet. Also of note, don't forget the "look/l," command, it tells you everything you need to know about planets. Finally, at the start you have 5 of 6 possible ship designs, and the sixth column  on the Fleet display is consequently empty.I hope that other people enjoy this game as much as I do. YOu'll definitely want to read the game manual, it includes a ton of information about the different races, the technology system, and so on.I'm gratified to be able to share this game with other people, I never expected to be able to play it at all.

That's exactly right. The stat checker tells you what a manamon's potential is.So I'm gonna make up some numbers here.Let's say you have a Leonatar, and you level it to 100. Put 240 points into its attack stat. Let's say with terribly underdeveloped, that attack is 266. But with perfect, maybe it's 316. so it's still going to be semi-high, but not as good.If you want a comparison, take a look at IVs (or DVs) in the pokemon series. Individual values, which now go from 0 to 31, to determine how strong a pokemon's given stats will be at max. A pokemon with a 0 IV in a given stat will have 31 less raw stats or thereabouts than a pokemon at 31 IV.Usually it takes me 10-30 minutes per manamon for ideal breeding, BTW.Dussocket can be levelled with Electric Shock and Shadow Claw and Sonic Missile, as there's a ton of crap weak to electric in the game (tangeria tower front, tangeria sea, the area near Orianda with all the birds, etc). So at least it's easy to level. If you think Dussocket's got it bad, try to level the Palador line before 47. lolOristar is faster than Dussocket, by the way, so it's possible that 1. your Dussocket has a low speed stat or 2. you've equipped gear that lowers that stat or 3. your level is lower or 4. you didn't put train points into speed this time, but did last time.I wouldn't really bother bringing a dragon into the Irroadium fight, because he'll use Magic Dragon and wreck it. The only one which could do it well would be Tabalus, and you won't have it yet. Titomaton shuts Irroadium down pretty hard though, particularly if it's got a broomstick so it doesn't get hit with Earthquake. So does Mondevol.

raspberry pi and port forwarding

I am a raspberry pi that I am using for an internet relay for amateur radio. Anyway, I do not always have the pi on a network that UPNP would work nor where I could set the router up to port forward. Matter of fact, when the Pi is connected to my IPhone (when my IPhone is an hotspot) I do not have that option at all. I asked in a facebook group and I am double checking here on how best take care of the problem. It is not out going ports that I have a problem with. It is in coming ports when an attempt is made to connect to the pi over the internet. This is mainly a problem when someone wishes to rout their signal over the net to my pi so that it can be transmitted at my location. To throw another twist in the mixx, what ever I do, I must be able to still SSH into the Pi via the local network if I wish. As a side note, if I have to pay extra, then chances are extra low that I will take that rout.

About trolls, you just move away from them. Ghosts teleporting you can be bad if you are, for example, going towards an item and don't pick it up, or just plain teleport you at a terrible place with a bunch of arrows. The fountain I'm not sure about, could be just for ambiance. @41 after you said that, in fact I do  got that on my 5th run, so really I don't think it's that hard to figure out. Also, it does not really resemble oh shit  closely at all in my opinion. A, it's not a sidescroller. B, there are no rocks which give you items to collect, no canonballs, and only pits which are not such a major part of the game. So, where are the similarities other than the sounds which come originally from Cp anyways? Haven't played ah damn it, so can't comment much on that, but oh shit and this are very different concepts. I can definitely see myself playing both games, so nothing against oh shit. Will try to improve my score some more

Hi guys.Our teacher said that next term we will have to build a robot, complete with its own user interface/operating system. In other words, he wants us to build a robot, but also code it to do stuff. He says we can use any programming language, so long as we don't do rubbish with it, and make an effective piece of technology.I was thinking about making an assistant bot. It will carry my bookbag, sweep/mop, and write notes for me in class. At least one of those things are doable. I was wondering what PL do you recommend? I should be able to learn by February. Any help is appreciated.

I'd forgotten this game was a mail game. To me it just feels like a mix between Ahh Damn It and Oh Shit. There's really nothing I can see to do, and the "Figure it out yourself" approach would be fine, if this game didn't have so many variables. Like Trolls, what do you do with those? If you see one, are you just screwed? Ghosts teleport you, and that's bad why? Why is there a fountain in the corner of the arrow place? There are so many variables it's like "Hey. Here's my game. Wanna know how to survive? Nah... nah... you'll be fine."I'm sure that you as a person have the patience to do the whole figuring it out thing but I can say that maybe don't make the whole thing guess and die, especially because this is, to my knowledge, your first game.

Granted, most of the community is not me, though, so I can totally see your frustration. I'll try and come up with a way to solve the lack of info issue, perhaps adding the "SPOILERS" tag in front of the the notes in read me would help?@39, heh, nice. The stat checker is there to tell you the potential of the manamon in question. So if it says terribly underdeveloped, that stat will go up as you level, of course, but it won't end up to be as much as if it were remarkable or perfect. At least, that's my understanding.

the thing I don't understand about the stat checker is that according to jade's guide which I use a lot, he says that no matter how much you train those manamon, the stats may never change. So what's the point of using the stat checker in the first place if it's just going to tell you the same thing no matter how much you train them?

I kindly ask. Please do not consider "producing fun / playability by not explaining some minor things" and "not even explaining required information to comfortably play the game" as the same thing. How would players be able to figure out why pressing enter in front of one of the letter boxes doesn't work? Assuming there's a kind of order to deliver a certain letter to a certain box, how would we know it without any explanation? I don't think that's our job, especially for this type of game.

Okay turns out there was a bug in asteroid processing to do with the drones not doing their jobs proeperly. Now that bug is fixed the activity is really! cool, so cool I'll be sorry to miss it. Managing the drones is virtually a mini resource collection game in itself, and while the activity is a lot of work, the work pays off, I just raised eleven ranks in one go from one very successful processing operation. After this asteroid harvesting will be a bit of a let down.

@Jack: Point taken. It would be nice to know just how many blind people report things like VoiceOver clunkiness on the Mac or no reliable way to find accessible games on the App Store directly to someone in Apple who can do some moving and shaking, though. I remember listening to an AppleVis podcast the other day where they were talking about the new features coming in iOS 13, and the public relations officer or some such was blind. He made a comment that caught my attention. He said that as a VoiceOver user he could go straight to the engineers and say this and that doesn’t work, and sometimes he would get a reaction like “you really use this? OMG!” Or a reaction along those lines. Everyone laughed politely, of course, but that sounded like a communication link was missing somewhere. So to me, the idea of sitting down with the people who build accessible games  seems not just a good idea, but just plain common sense, even if Apple isn’t exactly known for it’s openness to customer feedback.

I'd say it's probably not a huge deal. That just means those stats won't end up to be as good  as if it were rated higher by the checker. All this breeding stuff is mostly for people who tend to minmax and squeeze every last bit of potential they can out of the characters. If you sit and breed them trying to get everything to rate as reasonable or higher, you're gonna be at it for a while.

@33, while I appreciate the effort, I kindly ask you to be more nicer, which brings me to my point.If you all wish, I can write up exact details as to how the game works, but personally, I feel like that would defeat half the enjoyment the title has to offer. I gave you all the keys, which is enough to start playing and figuring things out, and I tried to be as logical as possible when coding what you can and can't do, but as you all have shown, it wasn't enough. Like I said: I can add more information to the read me, but I feel like that would take out the joy of finding things out yourself.@25, you can hit the ghosts with your sword. Right now, the ghosts are a tad bit too fast for a lot of folks. If you wish, I can slow them down, though that will mean they will reach that speed at a certain point of the game once again.

Could you explain yourself?@29, 30, and 31, I believe that I addressed most of your post issues when I replied to 27, but I will expand on it even more here. Post 9's comment, "a cp-like game", made me upset because I assumed, and this is my fault, that the poster in question hasn't truly played the game and seen everything it has to offer. By the same standing, oh shit, aah damn it, and oh hell (though we never saw it's official air) can be branded as "a cp-like game". To me, post 9 read like this: "Opened the game for 30 seconds, closed it because all I could do is just walk around and deliver letters like in princesses letters". I felt personally insulted that someone would have such low expectations.I understand where you all are coming from, but I cannot say that this won't happen again. Post 11 showed a bit more knowledge and hence my response because he did see a lot, but not everything.

By the same standing, oh shit, aah damn it, and oh hell (though we never saw it's official air) can be branded as "a cp-like game". To me, post 9 read like this: "Opened the game for 30 seconds, closed it because all I could do is just walk around and deliver letters like in princesses letters". I felt personally insulted that someone would have such low expectations.I understand where you all are coming from, but I cannot say that this won't happen again. Post 11 showed a bit more knowledge and hence my response because he did see a lot, but not everything.

There's a big difference between Apple noticing games and Apple actually helping with infrastructure. Apple knows that these games are around, they're just the ones sitting back and enjoying the entertainment and reporting on it as far as games are concerned. They've never taken the initiative. The closest we got is Craconis, since Josh does actually work at Apple, which does give an advantage in familiarity with the Mac and IOS.

It's not really a program... It's hardly something worth noting, but on my website, I'd kept on getting spam submitted through my contact form. It was really annoying, so I coded an extremely flawed captcha which one would have to go through to send me email from then on. It was flawed because all it did was match the input of a text field to a variable and if the input was true redirected to the form... anyone could view page source in firefox and just see the answer, but it was my first program that actually served a purpose. 4 out of 5 stars because it worked but worked terribly haha. It was sort of like a jerryrigged captcha solution lol

Wavent is moving closer to this point, but the problem is the market o natural voices is moving away from consumer use in general. Companies get access to things such as Vocalizer Studio for voice-tuning/inflection modification, and screen readers lose out on that. So it isn't just the fact they're using prerecorded samples. The problem with me is that the voices have become waay too natural, to the point where lazyass cheapskate corporations are actually using it for their ivr and explainer videos at the expense of the hardworking folks in the voiceover field.

With the advent of so-called natural-sounding voices, the market is pushing largely for synthesizers like Eloquence to be dropped in favor of these natural voices. My issues with these voices has always been that they ignore exclamation marks, simply treating them as periods. Can someone shed light on why this is the case? If Eloquence has been able to do it so effectively all those years back when it was first developed, why are natural voices struggling with this?Have there been any new developments in this area? One synthesizer in particular that comes to mind is the Vocalizer Expressive voices that are bundled with JAWS. Another synthesizer is what NVDA dubs as the Windows Core voices. Neither the former nor the latter synthesizers inflect on exclamation marks at all. The voices on the iPhone suffer from this as well (and this is Apple, of all places!)Why have we seemed to have gone backwards in terms of appropriate inflection?I think until these issues are resolved, the market will never truly adopt natural voices and throw away Eloquence. Many of us would like to because of Code Factory's hold on the license, but if the suggested synthesizers don't meet our needs then we end up losing productivity by switching to them full-time.And no, "just switch to ESpeak" isn't an option for me. I can't stand ESpeak.

The first element in the array or list or whatever works (in this case set minimum and maximum to list[0]). Now you can iterate through the list. If the current element (list[i]) is less than minimum, simply set minimum to list[i]. Likewise if list[i] is greater than maximum, set maximum to list[i]. Also the for loop should start at i=0 not i=1.

So, dussoket is really, really hard to play without the moves it should have. Mostly this is sparking tail. He'll get this at level 49. Wow! That's really, really early! He's got electric shock at least so there's that. I guess that's one way of making sure people aren't tempted to try and trade for it sooner than they should actually have it. This alone makes mondevol or erroir better electric types I think. To me, this is just a shadow type with an extra type for additional weaknesses if its level is less than 49. Unless you're meant to spam oblivion slash on everything and have a bunch of skill drinks or something to reset the usage points?

@129:Note: I never said that any company has ever done it; that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. All of us who use Apple products know Apple's always been big on accessibility. So why can't a company that's been so supportive in regards to accessibility be approached on the subject of games? I'd say now would be a good time to try, right when their gaming service is just taking off. Not later when it either doesn't pan out or is so popular that our voices don't have a chance in heaven of being heard over all the noise being generated by rolling coins. At the least maybe some Indy developers would like to try their hand at making accessible video games for the Arcade. Sorry if this post seems to ramble, but seeing all the "Apple doesn't care about us: is a bit wearing. If, after Apple is approached on the subject and either says no flat out or prevaricates on something till it never happens, then the complaints will be justified. Until then, talking to Apple about game accessibility is still an idea worth pursuing, in my opinion. Perhaps I'm just an optimist, but I still think it's worth a try at least.

@JackI use C and C++, leaning towards pure C, so I will have no trouble building on more or less any platform that I can get my hands on as long as I can access its libraries and so on. I have been spending time this year building new infrastructure for sound, text to speech and all the other obvious things like keyboard/mouse/joystick input etc, and I have made sure to make it cross platform from the start. Hi.Some things that came to my mind while playing the game and possibly could be easier to implement for a possible future release.1: A radar which alerts you to a certain object a certain distance away, for example you set a distance to for example 20 miles, and the radar alerts you if for example come into this 20 mile radius around your jet. As far as I have seen, you only get alerted if something has locked on to you.2: AI death match or team death match.For example you start death match mode, choose the number of opponents, for example 1 to 23, and then if you want everyone VS everyone with the last man flying or a team death match where you then choose the side you want to be on.For my personall taste, the regular death match doesn't contain enough planes to shoot down xd.3: Customizing your loadout. This could be handeled by a units system and every weapon and amunition takes up a certain amound of units.This way you could equip your plane with the weapons you want and take things out you don't want. For example, I would take out the regular missiles because they aren't really that useful and would possibly arm the jet with some more cruise missiles or extra fuel tanks for the situations where afterburners can save your ass.Would be awesome if this could be implemented some day.Greetings Moritz.

@PhilipBennefall:As far as I'm concerned there has never been a better time to jump into ios development, considering Swift UI has gotten a major rework. Voiceover accessibility is finally center stage to an XCode update, so if you're coding in Swift you will have a much better experience than you would have a few years back (scripting in Swift was always possible, but the ui and your source files were often not completely connected so as to make avoiding drag-and-drop next to impossible. Beyond that, we have seen the beginning of a few libraries for Swift such as audiogame utils. The god thing, though, is Swift is obviously not your only option. You have Visual Studio available for IOS development, though you will obviously still need a mac to access the connect store. The problem with third party tools is that not all of them use standard ui elements, but that should go without saying knowing how many mainstream games are written in engines that have their own control structure, particularly the cross-platform ones.@tayo.bethel: Fair point, though I wouldn't swear behind Apple as far as being fullproof. No company ever is, really, but almost all of the screwups that Apple has had, ironically, have been catastrophic. Group Facetime loopholes, and the Siri grading system just to name a few. While the other companies are *starting to get better* at aggregating data, we always kind of knew it was happening to a degree.

Can't land in Eurofly

Hi all,I have been playing Eurofly for a while, and I like it, but I have been getting a problem as of recent that is affecting my experience greatly.When I get within the radio distance of the destination airport, the tower does not announce: “This is your destination airport,” but instead wants me to go to 2500, 1300, and then to 100, and once I am at 100, it tells me to continue on my current altitude.Once I get within 2km from the airport and try to ask for landing permission, I can't do it, and I instead hear the name of the airport.Spamming f1, going out of the 2km range, or even out of the radio range of the airport and back in it again does not make a difference; it seems to happen randomly.I'm currently doing 4-5, and it happens when I try to land at Libreville Gabon, having started at  Sao Tomé,Sao Tome and Principe, but I have gotten the same kind of problem before in other places, and it randomly goes away.Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?Is there a known trigger that causes this?Any help would be appreciated.

My problem with combat is again, if you need all this super expensive gear and ultra powerful ships to do it, the help should damn well say so, especially when you can buy a low rank fighter then only discover it can't do combat when it didn't hold the charge. I'll admit this is one of the few times I've been mildly disappointed with the cm staff, since instead of fixing the help files when I reported the issue they told me they expect new players to talk to higher level players, so basically any newbie can die three times to ships running out of charge as I did when trying out combat if they dont' want to group. Anyway, combat is obviously something to leave for much later, despite the help files claims otherwise. I'm now trying out asteroid processing which is really interesting to do, but I don't think I got how processing the asteroid works, since while the hauling process was much more interesting and I like the idea of using the drones, I got to a point where my processing drones just woudln't collect anymore water no matter where I sent them. The help files say the max for processing storage is 6000 units with a thousand of each type, but I'm guessing this is probably a typo since I didn't have half that much. Still I'll try it again and see.
