Good morning all,So first things first, I enjoy the concept golden crayon has to offer. An interactive 2d and 3d building engine that's also online that also allows you to play music with people on the same map together.However, what is flat out inexcusable are the multitudes of stolen assets. If those of you who played scrolling battles your world remember, it started out tiny, less than 12 MB.Over time, it grew both in popularity and size, because people wanted more options and variety to build with, for which I couldn't blame them.The reason SBYW's sounds bank is as huge as it is now is because of it's continued contributions by it's players, plus the streamlined addition of sounds also helps.But let's not focus on that any longer. Let's address the main issue at fault here.In counting the total amount of assets available in golden crayon, about 10 percent of the assets are actually original (not stolen from any game in this community). Of those, most are music.See here's the thing. There's 0 excuses for that. There are dozens and dozens of (legitimate) places to get sounds for free. Not only that, but once you start amassing a collection of them, it's easy enough to pick and choose sounds you like for your next release.Here's the next biggest thing that's on my chest. So guys, do any of you remember the game dangerous drive?If you don't, you might remember that it later became street chaos early on during it's development lifetime.I offered to join him in developing the game out of passion for the concept. Tunmi and I would communicate on ideas that could fit the game, and or issues that needed to be addressed, both in and out of his control he needed assistance with.I myself was extremely passionate about the game and would often work until the sun to meet deadlines.One of the first things I added into the game was spikes that would target your car with pinpoint accuracy.I was pretty happy with the system and the added difficulty, and Tunmi enjoyed it as well when he got a chance to play it the next day.A few days later of testing and fixing a few bugs I noticed my spike code had been significantly tampered with. Knowing fully well I hadn't changed anything there I knew that Tunmi had made drastic changes that almost broke spikes entirely.Even still to this day, spikes no longer behave like they used to.I fessed it up to he probably had a better vision than I did and added in the game's next difficulty, cars.When I sat down to play it after taking the time to ensure the system was as bug-free as possible the next morning, knowing full and well we had a release date coming up I was overjoyed at what the game was becoming literally overnight.Everyone we spoke with loved the concept, and the added avoidance of other vehicles only made it much more fun.A short while after that version was released, I added a small addition that would allow you to toggle between center and dynamic panning laws.After that version was released I took a break to catch up on some (much needed) sleep, and also get some personal things done. Once I came back some 3 days later to look into adding weaponry, I noticed there had been a pretty major code refactoring; Most of my code I contributed had been either removed or replaced.Tunmi's only answer to this question was, he didn't feel it was necessary.I gave it one last shot and added weaponry and he added npcs a few hours later. He also made some minor (though overdo) vehicle physics. I was overjoyed at our combined progress.That night when I came back to finish up for the next release I noticed that once again my code had been pulled. I went to bed and simply waited to see what the public release would look like.What very few of you might know is it was the most unplayable version of the game that followed. Not only was sound playback majorly unreliable, but the game as a hole was missing keyboard input at times.He patched it to playability just before release, though by then I had already had enough, and left the project.And to come back to this, where Tunmi has stolen sounds from not only big label companies but small, independent creators such as myself after contributing so much to his projects is the complete and ultimate backstabbing I've ever received I didn't see coming.I honestly didn't want to write this post. I could have used the last 40 minutes to get other things done.But this entire culmination in events and actions Tunmi has taken is not ok. His willfulness to lift dozens upon dozens of sounds from other games is not ok.My advice for Tunmi is to start from scratch, from an asset perspective. Take media that is actually yours, or you have purchased/been given permission to use and run with it. In time, as people grow accustomed to your game, contributions will come to you, and you yourself will have time to add assets from legitimate places on the internet, or music you create. I, love, love, love love love this game. It's everything I've ever wanted in a simulation. Well, nearly everything.The sound design is a bitweird. I get that your going for a purely synthetic soundscape and for that I applaud you. I was just kind of expecting a bit more in terms of mechanical sounds from the boat. And other sounds from the sea. And sea creatures.The Doppler in this game is stunning. At times when heading towards a something I actually have to take my headphones off for just a brief second sometimes because I feel like I'm actually there.Also, thank you for an open world game where you can pretty much bump and crash into things at high speed with immunity. It really makes a game like this really, really fun.There's one thing I'm still trying to figure out! The radar. How on earth does this thing work. I hear a series of descending tones that seem to move... back? I don't know! They clearly mean something though, I just haven't figured it out. Can somebody drop a hint?And now for someSPOILERSFor those who have downloaded this and found a lot of nothing, you have to dive a really long while, 3 minutes on turbo.Once you do though, you'll see just why I love this game so much.End spoilers.With that being said, I've neglected my college assignments long enough. Keep it up!

Hi.@sneak. The work your doing with joi2key is understandable.The issue I have though is the language in question has (admittedly below average at best) game pad/controller support. You should not have to take time out of your day to do this, this should honestly be the responsibility of the developer.It is laughably easy to add, too! You know the mouse example? Yup, just take that, modify it slightly and you have very basic working gamepad codeI'm not hating or disliking your work, I can understand why your doing it. I would say if these guys can put together a working fps, adding gamepad support would prove a minimal challenge.@Developer(s). I would be more than happy to provide small example on how you use the gamepad object in bgt. It's far from being close to rocket science, promise.

She's still clearly asleep, her face pinched, her lips move as she says something in her sleep, but with the exception of making out her sister's name, you aren't able to understand what she is saying.   Error: <>: bad conditional _expression_ in <> clause: expected _expression_, got '>'Wake her and tell her she was having a bad dream.Wake her and send her to her own bed.Roll over and go back to sleep.For reference, I had asked Anna to sleep with me in the master bedroom, and Eve to sleep alone.And a bit of a long winded message follows.So I am 99 percent it's down to me playing a8 instead of playing a9, though to me, yes there is lots of room to explore, but not a lot tends to happen, even roaming around the place as if a pre-programmed robot.I tend to get a lot of the same events for in game days at a time. Also, there's not all that much of a way to know how much Anna really trusts you unless you pick up on her clues when your around. And even that content is a bit lacking.Otherwise, I do love how the rooms tend to change a little here throughout the day, and the ambient scenes add a bit of variety to rooms you may have already seen before.I can't wait to see where this game goes. It has potential to be something quite unique, and the fact it can be played on many systems is quite nice. I should try playing it on a note taker, Lol.Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see more content! I'll be shelling out $5 for the cheat version and oh that brings up an interesting question. Can you play the cheat version normally, and is the content the same as the early access build?

So I'm probably having a derp moment, though ramps never seem to unlock themselves even after I unlock basically all the bikes, although bike 3, the second free bike you get by achievements, doesn't seem to unlock either. Anyone else noticed this?

It's honestly a great game and I'm glad to see it works on an iPhone 6.Small point of note, the bikes don't make the rev noises when selecting them either in the shop or in the start screen in firefox on windows 10 possibly? They work fine on the iPhone though.So glad I can be a cyclepath on the go! Although, it'd be very nice if sounds could cache for those who don't have internet connections or on vacation.

Hi,Although I have only coded in bgt and am not likely to change that, honestly it's a delicate balance. I have to find that point where I can feel comfortable picking this game back up, as a player, and saying [[wow]], I feel this thing is complete.There's still a couple last things I would love to implement into this if I ever picked it back up again, however they are incredibly minor. It's also to do with the players too.I constantly ask myself, if I stopped here, would players mind? Are there missing features? Things I never got around to? Bugs left unpatched? Etc.I can't wait to see what is in the repo a year from now. That is, provided the domain is still alive. Currently looking for cheaper web hosting.Anyway, I'll sign off for now. Happy flipping!

Hey guys,I've made bombs not take away your speed anymore. I've also increased the default starting maximum health as well. Bombs still hurt a fair amount, so you shouldn't just stand in one single spot while a raid is happening.At some point I'd like to tweak debris a little to make it a little more explosive, though for now, I believe it's fine.As always, you can grab the game from the link above.

The problem with that is I can't use a headset with a microphone in it, all I can use for a microphone is the built in one, unless I plug in an external card.

Most of my time is being spent trying to disable this fucking waves crap, sorry for the language, for the last two days.It's this enhancement that is supposed to make your audio sound better, however it makes screen readers almost impossible to understand. That, and the app that controls it is pretty much inaccessible.

I think it's the one slender demonstrated.It doesn't even have a way to add your own objects, debris is a lot more spammy, it's way more likely to own your pc, and it does not have a mass destruction booster.Would anyone be interested in playing with it? Hey guys,@aaron, I'm working on wave mode right now, that's not what I'm going to call it, though anyway. There is kind of a problem though. When you complete the mass destruction booster, that basically gives you another wave of objects as the debris destroys it.It's a complex system I can't really explain on writing, and that's the problem I have to sort out. What will be the major difference between completing the md booster, and wave blaster mode?Objects become stronger both when you level up, and when you complete the mass destruction booster. If you guys could think of suggestions to make wave blaster mode unique, I think I could get them in.@orko, objects are extremely easy to make. All you need, are 3 flip sounds, flip1.ogg is used when the object has greater than 50 percent health remaining,flip2 is used when the object has less than that, and flip3 is when the object is flipped completely.Loop or itemname.ogg is the item's main loop, debrishit.ogg is used when debris hits the object.After this you will need a properties.txt file. You can copy one over from another object and modify it, or create a new one. Either way, you may wish to consult the readme for further details on the attributes.I hope this helps, looking forward to seeing what objects you create!@kratos, the website has moved from Colton's hosting, it is now at my website. I honestly wasn't expecting this thing to be as well received as it has been. I am seriously glad you guys enjoy this quote wonderfully pointless but addicting quote game.So this game, as the manual says, originally started out as more or less a shared concept thing that was closed off. You couldn't add objects, and in fact, the sounds were encrypted. Slender kept wanting me to make more objects and I was not very unwilling to do this. This was mostly because the objects were hardcoded into the game earlier on into development.And now a few months later we have this pointless monstrosity. It's been fun watching you guys take to it, and I really hope you guys continue to add to the repo and things.I'm still working on the final update, finally resolved the bug I talked about earlier, and will hopefully have it posted sometime next week.Bye for now!

I'll take this in one by one.Firstly, yes, I'll be hosting this as soon as we get everything assembled.Second, I never intended this game to last as long as it has. Now we have a hole freaking repo of objects. Not that I mind, I just now need to obtain all of them and upload it and the scripts.Third, the reason to use php is because of the changing repo. Would you fancy having to give out the links if I hadn't enough time to post them publicly? Probably not. Php solves this by retrieving all the objects currently in the repository so I don't have to make links for every, single, one.Again, as has been said, I will be hosting it, I just need to get everything together and then upload everything.

hi,According to malware bytes premium, no threats were found when I scanned the entire game's directory which includes game.exe.No threats were found when I scanned my hard drive. Are you by chance using windows defender? I've heard that tends to give a lot of false positives.It might also be the way bgt compiles, for which I can do nothing about. Antivirus usually detect a bgt game as a virus.Hope this helps.

To pause the game, press and hold alt, then press f1. This also resumes.Also, @wp85, post 637, allow your screen reader to pass the key on through to the game. I noticed, with NVDA in particular, if I didn't, I couldn't turn the music off/on. You can use f12 with some other modifier keys to turn it up/down, I can't quite remember them at this current time.Also, to the person asking about current status, it's, workable, but you will need some patience.Feel free to take a look at the guides available, and my recording post 636 I believe, in which I demonstrate flying and other things.The english translation is a bit rough, but does get the job done quite well in my book.Hope this helps.

Hi,As your taxiing down the airport, you will hear beeping. Go slow down the airport, so you have time to react when it's time to turn.Every so often when your in range of a takeoff area (runway) you will hear which one it is. When you find the one you need, turn in it's direction. It's better if your moving slower so your aircraft has time to turn, or better yet, stop the aircraft so you can focus on turning. When your facing the runway, continue moving forward, and take off as normal when the beeping stops.If you guys want, I can put the stats.dat file on my website so you guys can download it directly.

hello,I'm going to be honest and say, the authors of this game have a lot, and I mean a lot, of work to do if they want this to be a big hit.First off, network events don't seem to be transferred real well, leading in huge lag. Either that or the keyboard handler is seriously buggy.Half the time during the game keypresses would not register, leading to some frustrating moments trying to open menus.Next, there needs to be an explanation on this game. Officially. You can never, and I mean never, create a game and not know what your doing, and have it be a big hit. There needs to be an official explanation of, what this game is, what you can do in it, what the goal is, etc.Finally, and as has been noted here and even though I was able to get my version to switch, there does need to be a way to enable English and other languages, by hitting a key on startup, or having a menu at startup with all the different languages.Other than that, I re

I'm going to come out and say this here.I tried, very hard, for 20 or so minutes to be fair and unbiased, and give the game a try.I hate to say this but, mason, Sam, I had to take headache medication, every single sound is way too A, overplayed and b, loud!I couldn't even tell what I was doing, I had espeak all the way turned up, the game turned way down in the windows mixer (yes I read the readme), but honestly? I know its public beta and all but, pretty, pretty, pretty pretty pretty pretty pleez! For the love of crying out loud turn down those sounds and set there global radius to a way lower value! Trust me. Far away explosions do not sound like they are in your face.If you can do that, I'll be back to try the game again. But for now, 20 minutes is all I could manage.Good luck guys!

I am going to go on a bit of a rant, so, if you find it offensive, please, just press the letter h on your keyboard to skip this post.That said, I honestly think ultrapower has reached its demise. It was fun while it lasted, but really, ever since version 6 and above, things just started spiraling out of control, though slowly.The game was fun while it lasted, though the game switching developers thing is honestly on point.And the thing that worries me, is the fact this has happened quite a lot, over the last month and some change.As an amateur developer, I feel I can say the following. It is necessary to really have a level head and not play childish games with your people that support you. If you do, well, something along the lines of this very topic is the result.Regarding the legal binding issue, allow me to explain this. Legal binding is only there for a good civilian, and non existent for someone with bad intentions AKA sound effects factory on 
 youtube.My point is, don't rely on a license agreement or any agreement of any kind to keep you safe... common knowledge and common sense can keep you safe from this sort of thing believe me I've been there.Seriously though, this project is just screaming and kicking, begging for it to be left alone.Can we please, all of us, just leave it alone, and move on to something better? I am sure one of the former developers can come up with something unique and fun, no?

A small update has been released.This update fixes the odd bug you would get where your stats on clipboard and your stats spoken were completely different from each other, rofls.And btw, I nearly broke the updater, lol.Also, I'm going to try and code those suggestions for the remainder of this week. I'm taking this to my website so you don't get dropbox errors.http://www.theforceofunstoppable.com/ga … t/eitt.zipI've put in a power sound centered or not centered toggle, so the not centered behavior is just like what you are used too currently.I've made power considerably less sensitive so you actually end up using a lot more of the power spectrum now.I've changed up the scoring sound and instead replaced with a ding sound.That scoring sound, plus the original audio, will now play under certain somewhat rare conditions.Re balanced the difficulties slightly, mostly in terms of when the shield appears.Zoomed the stereo spectrum in.Experimental and somewhat goofy but, added in an auto updater. I've noticed that if your creating an account for the first time on a server, what you have to do is the following:1. Launch ultrapower.2. Enter server details or find it in the list.3. Select setup account on this server.4. Follow instructions.5. When done, restart the client.6. Connect to the server and all should be fine!Hope this helps!

This is why you use a password manager and use passwords upwards of 12 characters.A password of mine will look something a bit like this:FpPN3gmAcUhK89ghI use a password manager to store my passwords, so at least this way, I can keep my accounts decently secured, and the passwords almost impossible to guess, unless you some how got a hold of the password database.Just a suggestion.

hi,The field could work like this.If the damage ratio is ridiculous, meaning, if your trying to battle a level 5000 and your a level 49, here is what could happen.Should you no longer be safe and the level 5000 enemy fires, that damage combined with your own defense (or something like that), will instead hit the level 5000 enemy.Or, how about this one.No matter what level you are, if your level 1, 5, 35, 70, 6000, whatever. There is a chance you could do a quarter of the enemys hp in terms of damage. So, you could do a quarter of 2100 hp, since thats the hp cap atm.Just a couple suggestions I thought of to make the game a bit more fair.

To give the newbies a chance, I came up with a little thing yesterday while attempting to help a newbie.So, lets say a level 1 decides to battle me. I will use the gas canister, because, seriously, thats probably one of the most kick ass weapons in the game.So let us then say, I fire at the newbie. What could happen is the first time I fire, an absorption field takes the damage done, then throws it back at me, and ignores all my defenseTo be clear, the absorption field will only activate when the level to damage ratio is ridiculous, and if your level is no greater than 500.

Since I have nothing going on for the rest of the year and the weather is crappy, I decided to give this a try.Seems cool, but Im a little confused on the in character vs out of character chat. Honestly, I think people are just going to chat in whatever channel is easiest to reach, which, is the in character chat, from what I can gather.Also, is there a map of the planets and other things created? Or do you just have to be told where to go, and wait?Seems a cool game, but its a lot to take in. Ill do my best to play alongside the other pilots.Btw, being Im an rc pilot, Im slightly hurt that you dont have to trim your ship, lol.Trimming is the art of making an aircraft stay steady in the air, by the way.

Awesome.New park remodeling finished. Im just having loads of fun watching it growMy customer rating did get down to about 60 while I was doing this, but now its back at 100.I keep getting offers to sell the park, I will wait until I get a decent offer, about 500 dollars or more. I have a large roller coaster, and its great fun to ride.What I had to do while I was remodeling.First, I had to make quite a lot of money before I shut down the park.Then, I fired all my staff yes, every one of them! They were lazy pricks anyway.Next, I did as much demolishing I could in a single day. Then I started rebuilding those sections that werent yet taken.Then as I started to fill the park up with more rides and games, I started hiring more staff.After I was done I ran a few campaigns. And in less than 3 weeks I was back up to my usual park stats, if not double. Its great.Oh yeah, there also seems to be an odd glitc
 h. Ive got a lot of attractions in my park, and a lot of them dont load sounds, including the sounds for the monorail station, and others.They used to load, before I got as much stuff as I did in my park. I enjoy this game, a lot! Id donate, but I dont have paypal.

Ive built up a great park thus far. I have a customer rating of 100 percent.It does take some careful consideration of how you manage things, and a lone of no more than say, 20 is more than enough.One suggestion, I want to do a major remodeling of the park now that Ive got a great user bass, but I dont know of a way to close the park while I do this. Could this be added?
