Needless to say, the voice quality was so poor that I had a teacher who I asked after every second sentence like please repeat what you said because I didn't really got it. She, of course, repeated but it was still embarrassing and comfusing at the same time. I'm not an expert in repairing soundcards and mycrophones but since I've also had several problems with it on my previous laptop, I know the basics of repairing or changing drivers. One day, when we had absolutely enough of repeating and repeating, I told her if she wants and if she trusts me, we could do something about it. So she called me somewhere else, maybe messenger, I don't really remember, and we changed her driver. Everything went smoothly, it worked, but when we were on discord it was shitty again, just like before. We went into her discord settings, changed a few stuff regarding sound, being in high hopes it would increase the quality, but it didn't. We didn't give up and we still tried to enhance it somehow but without any success. So I'd vote on teamtalk regarding sound quality, but discord is somewhat better regarding customisability and everything else. I'm not saying discord should support the built in stereo mycrophone in my laptop, I can live without that of course, but it shouldn't decrease the sound quality this badly. And no, I don't want to listen to my friends eating chips in front of their jeti, I just want to hear people without asking back. And no, I'm not deaf or anything, I don't even know how to describe how it sounded like. The teacher started a sentence and after like 2 words, her voice suddenly went silent as if the mycrophone didn't sense her voice, and whole words were filtered out. But I'd have a question because my problem makes twitch really unconfortable to use.So I was watching one of my favourite guitarist, but the chat was so filled with messages that I just couldn't move in the window, because NVDA kept reading everything automaticaly from the top of the chat. Well, is it any better that you can't leave a voice channel on IOS no matters what you do, and even if you close the app it still says you are in it, and the only way to leave it is to connect from PC and leave from there?Discord was much better earlier, let's say, 4 or 5 months ago. There were normal, clickable buttons, it was easy to connect anywhere and was easy to see through servers. But it got worse after every update. Who else loves the newly introduced menu from which you can choose the server you wanna chat in, but you can't normally enter this menu because it starts with the first server's unvisited link. Wonderfull, is it? I'm not sure how jaws users could avoid this, because with NVDA browse mode the thing works after a few clicks, but I'm not sure about jaws...Yes, skype's iOS and android apps are horrible, I know. But is discord any better if it comes to chat or talk? Just take the bug I described above. Sadly it's even worse, with its' cluttered interface, and no, it's not voiceover's mistake, but doscord's.As I said, our online learning was held on discord. Every day I opened it at least twice, but sometimes I just didn't close it because every time I started the thing, it started to update and after every update it got worse. I usually started the thing 5 minutes before the actual lesson, saying that a program won't load that slowly. Well, my computer is a fast one, it's one of the HP pavilion modells, but poor discord had to update after each time I started the app, so there were times when I entered exactly at the beginning of the lesson, and not only I was complaining about this updating habit.And the sound quality. I have a stereo mycrophone. I never thought it would work on discord, but I also never thought it's this kind of bad. I sound like if I was talking from a huge box, and everyone sounded so, my teachers, my classmates, moreover, they sounded even worse, sadly. A teacher of mine had so a bad sound quality that there were a lot of parts of her speech I couldn't hear, and 20 minutes of the lesson was me asking back. And then we switched to messenger, which wasn't any better, but at least we didn't encounter that weird sound problem and I could hear her normally. One of my teachers kept cracking, even if IT guys repaired her mycrophone like 3 times, and she sounded much better if she made us a recording using the same mycrophone. Skype isn't any better, moreover, it's worse, but discord could be much better if it's so hiped. Well, is it any better that you can't leave a voice channel on IOS no matters what you do, and even if you close the app it still says you are in it, and the only way to leave it is to connect from PC and leave from there?Discord was much better earlier, let's say, 4 or 5 months ago. A half year ago in one of my posts I stated something like if this forum continues to go this way, the ones who can give valuable help will turn away and will never return. That's what literaly happened, and only a few of them stayed. In my period of absence I can't even count how many cloner problems this forum had, how many alts were banned and stuff. If those valuable people were still here, those problems wouldn't play such a big role because intelligent posts would be 99 percent of the forum. By banning all the people who they disagree with is just a weak way of handling conflicts. Jayde is quite reasonable if it comes to listening to people, that's true and I give that to him. I was also banned because at a point I didn't share his views regarding transgender, I know at that time I was harsh, that's true as well. With all of this I only wanted to say that from the time I could log in again, I was aware of that it doesn't matter if I start rebelling or whatever, I, as a simple person can't change how the universe is going, and I don't even want to.
