IOS is gradually beginning to open more and more of the system to developers. I was firmly against this in the beginning, but it does have its uses. I hope they will eventually open enough to allow changes to the UI sounds.

Use VideoPad video editor from NCH Software. A friend used that software for a similar project. It comes with an image library if you are forced to add an image, but I think you can accomplish a lot with that piece of software.

I believe the speaker you need is dependent on your music tastes. I don't like loud music, so the Echo dot is perfect for me. Even Bob Dylan sounds decent through that speaker.

Everything seems to work well. I just don't understand how Joan is able to tell Alexa to play a certain type of music to help her sleep. I haven't figured that out yet.
