Re: Dreamy train @Douglas, okay have the update now, I'm liking some of the sound changes, though I've not run into any of the new stuff yet, still, I've only just been refamiliarizing myself with some of the training courses.I appreciate that the Japanese spoken voices are a great thing for those who can understand them, but personally I find them a wee bit distracting when I'm trying to listen to NVDA's English translation, so I turned them off, as I did in Shadow rine. it'll be nice to get back into this game though, I remember finding it quite relaxing during a very stressful time last year. a problem with installing latest version of dreamy train Hi.As a small rest I want to play dreamy train again, but after downloading full setup package during installation process I have a message that any file is corrupted and I have three buttons ignore, cancel and retry.If I am clicking ignore I have another error of the same type.I have tried to run this installer as an admin and by changing his language from english to japanese but the same think happens.I have downloaded this setup again and I have the same issue.I am afraid that somethink is corrupted in the installer.Does some one have a latest working installer or zipped version of this game.I like this game, it isnt so good but it is very relaxing. Even this has a limit though, and I don't know of a way to continue past this limit. That's why the Chrome method seems to be easiest, even if you don't want to use Chrome installing it to read a document translated shouldn't be too big of a problem. What I recently started doing and what is very effective if you use Google chrome, open the file in Chrome and then just accept Chrome's offer to translate it. If the Japanese text just shows up as random Unicode characters, translating from Japanese won't do jack to help you. You'll need to convert the encoding of the text. This is a built-in feature of the Notepad2 program, as well as it also just being a better alternative to the built-in Notepad program.From there, you want to recode to Japanese (Shiftjis), and the characters should actually appear as Japanese characters. From there, you can use translation tools.Off the top of my head, I can't remember the keyboard shortcut to recode, but I think it's f8 or 9, along possibly with a modifier like control. Post 2 pretty much nailed it, and there are other apps like q-translate as well, though that does require some additional tools like something to automatically read your clipboard aloud. How are games actively translated into English (re: Dreamy Train) I've seen some mention about a game called Dreamy Train on here recently and the description of it peaked my interest, until I saw a not-so-helpful note in the Audiogames Database saying that a translator app can be used to translate it into English.I don't have an Android so can't use Google Translate as the description suggests (plus I don't even think this is a mobile game.)So I'm rather confused at this point. another kind of purchasing help, dreamy train Hey everyone.So as the topic title says, I need some help in purchasing dreamy train.You see, PayPal basically locked me out of my account since about a year.Last year I transferred a larger 3 digit sum to a friend of mine and PayPal decided that this would be a good idea to investigate certain things on my account, and decided that they would close it. I have no idea why, the support can't help me either and well, I generally have no idea what the heck is going on.So, I want to buy dreamy train, but as far as I know, I can only pay via PayPal. So, here is my idea.Would someone of you be so kind and help me with this?my plan is pretty simple.I transfer the money to you via a normal bank transfer and the person could then use the money to buy the license and send it to my eMail address. updating dreamy train Hello!After ages, I finally got my virtual machine up and running on my mac again, and started playing Dreamy Train. Since I've not played it in 2 years or so, and since after the loading screen a thing pops up that says history, followed by a bunch of Japanese characters, I suspect there's been an update or 2 since I lat played. The website, being in Japanese, doesn't seem very clear on how I go about downloading the updated version. Does anybody have any tips for this? Think stuff like the limited time events in games like Alter Aeon or Fortnight, but on a more local scale, i.e, they are programmed into the game itself and will happen the same time each year. Re: Question about Dreamy train and JGT Oh I suspect the setup should arrive soon, when orders are processed by hand it always takes a little longer, especially over the weekend. Actually Japan is ahead of the UK, (I just checked), so it's nearly six PM Sunday evening here, and it's nearly three AM Monday morning there. So, as I bought the game two o'clock yesterday afternoon, it would've been eleven PM over theree, so there really hans't been much time to deal with my order . As to manamon and swamp, Swamp I did have fun with at one point, albeit I didn't really get heavily into the multiplayer side of things and just spent my time wandering around the maps shooting zombies and gaining xp. Fun as far as it went, although having all my weapons go bye bye whenever I died got annoying. Manamon I just finished a major play through in preparation for manamon 2. whilst there are some plot holes, the game generally is extremely good and I'd highly recommend it. My only major issue is that unless you read Jayde's guide, the balance is really off. IN my first try of the game I was having extreme trouble since I just basically chose the wrong creatures. Apparently Manamon 2 things are a bit more balanced though I've not got far enough in the game for that to make as much difference, and have got a wee bit distracted by shadow rine and dreamy train. Re: Question about Dreamy train and JGT Okay I've been grappling with locale emulator for a fair while, I did get it to work, but then it randomly decided not to, and to delete the japanese translation option from the context menu into the bargain, as well causing my computer's startup to be wy too long.AFter restarting my computer four times I just decided to be methodical, and have found the text entry boxes for name and registration info anyway. I imagine I will be buying this game, so assuming I can read the email correctly that should be fine.the moral of the story seems to be, forget complex solutions when a simple bit of old fashioned button poking will do . Question about Dreamy train and JGT
Question about Dreamy train and JGT After being very successful with running komado with JGT, I decided to try dreamy train, since a nice relaxing train game sounds good at the moment. Once I selected NVDA the game seemed to ttranslate fine, however, what I'm not sure of are the text boxes at the beginning, since JGT doesn't auto translate those.I presume these are about demo mode or registering the game. First a box appears with an okay button, then a box with two different buttons, and pressing either doesn't seem to chagne anything. I presume JGT doesn't translate these boxes because text isn't being sent to NVDA directly, or at least it doesn't seem to. With screen reader selection I just went through until I found NVDA and hit enter and then everything worked, but I don't really like clicking buttons I don't know about, especially if I go and buy the game which I might well do.Any advice on either how to translate those text boxes, or how to register the game would be appreciated. I tried copying and pasting into google translate, but no luck at all, which might have something to do with text encoding or something I'm not sure, since currently I just have the JGT addong working and haven't messed with localisation settings or changing keyboard or whatever.Thanks in advance, and yes, I admit I'm rather late to the party here, this is something I should've done back in 2017 when I first started on NVDA but hay there's always time to catch up.
