It's not so much ceased development as it's temporarily on hold.  I got a job a few months ago, and it's taking most of my time.  I'll still be working on it and AA as time permits, it's just going to progress much more slowly.  We've still got AA stuff booked up for the next couple of months before I can even think about going back to work on SA.

Has Stellar Aeon ceased development? From what I played of the alpha, spaceflight seemed pretty mundane and boring. It's not exciting like, say, Miriani. Sorry Kratos, I don't think there's any low level areas scheduled to be opened.  What level would you like for new zones?  There's only one or two more planned for Kordan, but we know we need a bunch of them on Archais.Wp85 - you should be able to just run the updater and get updates.  Which reminds me, I need to talk to the guys about making another mush-z release!

Kenzon, I do not think it is fair to reduce a fame mobs difficulty, it is meant to be a challenge.Lets see what I can do to help you.Well, I dont know exactly why some spells tend to fail even being perfected, I also face this sometimes, but a solution I found was to create aliases for the most used, so I dont have to waste much time typing.Regarding good exp, it depends on mainly on your current level and your play style. For example, with my level 25 druid Im hunting sometimes in the ice elemental plane, or spider caves. Midgaard also gives me a good amount of xp, but it requires a bit of caution since there are some fame mobs there too.Well equipment... Yes, it is kind of hard to find out the best equipment for all purposes, my best bet is to make as many eqsets I need. What exactly you are having problems regarding the eqset command?Im not sure about level restriction for questing, but I had to get ba
 ck to the first island to aid a friend and I was at level 23 by the time. So yes, even if you cant go back there later, it gives a fair level range for you to look for the quests.And lastly, you can buy practices using xp, it is a bit expencive, but still possible.Hope it helped at least a bit.Best regards, Haramir.

Hi Haramir,No, not a problem with the eqset commands, but finding equipment suitable for each eqset is the problem...Also, yes, fame mobs are supposed to be a challenge, but well, it need 5 minutes or more to kill it even with a group of 3 or 4, 6 skeletons or so, and a few other minions to assist! LOL thats what I meant by decreasing its difficulty. I had problems with some fame mobs (because most of them bloodmist) but thats another story... I heard that blood demons can be dispelled from somewhere on the AA articles sight, but I dont know...

Hello guys,LOL only found this topic like, a few days ago? Anyways, I had a few problems here and there considering my char, Kenzon:1. I keep failing to cast spells even when their spell knowledge is at perfect, and I didnt wear any negative castability eq... Any hints why this happens?2. I dont know where to get good exp. Vikings give too less exp on my levels imo, but some other places would have mobs that will wipe me out fairly quickly... I dont know where to go for exp runs, and I really want to level quickly! Also, I think the quicksand thingy on Vikings is too dangerous. Maybe just maybe, can you lower his HP or make it not aggro, Dentin? LOL I was with a group with 3 or so members, even an lv36 guy, but we need about 5 minutes to kill it even with 6 skeletons! But then again, it is a fame mob...3. Equipment: I just cant seem to find much eq that had magecast and manaregen on it. I also cant seem to manage eqsets so well
 , and my equipments are just soo messy...4. Unfinished quests: is it OK if I went back to Sloe or Kordan at high levels to complete unfinished quests just for the sake of it? LOL.5. Not enough practices... I often find myself going out of practice. I just hope that the welcome gifts would give practices more often... Or something.So, any hints for all these problems I have? LOL I only managed to get about 6 magecast or so, and my regen just sucks... Heh. Please, anyone please give some hints.

My guess is that you have some alias overriding it, or some conflict with an existing alias. What exactly are you typing to cast a spell?Two things might help you to debug it: try casting a spell, and when it fails, use the history command to see what was actually sent to the server. I was finally able to find the page with the recipes for brewing potions on the alter aeon site. So now its just going to take some time to learn them. Dentin just a suggestion, but have you or any of the other creators ever thought a command which would allow someone to post their character stats/achievements/etc. to facebook from the mud? I think it would be cool. As an early treat, the level 34 Temple of Sand and Water area has been reopened, while the main event starts tomorrow morning, on Thursday, October 31, at 9:00 am EST (6 am system time). The event schedule is roughly as follows:Thursday, Oct 31- The first waves of vampires, werewolves, and ghosts will be released on the mainland and the mid-level islands! Hunt them down to collect prizes.- The witch Verda will return, and has a fun little quest to do.- Several pk arena battles will be run, with rewards for the winners.Friday, Nov 01- The Zankous Castle event area will be open again for the event. On the grave keeper quest on Kordin, I can get to the bottom layor, but once I get to the Mausoleaum, Im stuck, Im able to touch some of the gravestones, so they move, but wher is the grave keeper? The books command gives you direct access to a lot of the book objects in the game. Some of them are just short descriptions of stuff, but some of them are actual history for the game and/or say something important about specific areas.
