It seems to be a problem that happens with some accounts and not others, I've never seen it myself, and yet I've had to log in and out a few times everytime I run c cleaner.

[[wow]]. This sounds really wierd. I wonder if this test will work. I am testing a theory. I did the following to see if this error can be reproduced. I checked remember me. I logged in. I closed the window. I actually closed the tab, but it was only the one tab that was up. I reopened it about a second after. Let's see what happened.Edit:I still post as Jaseoffire. This is getting weird.Somehow it's not fixed.I will detail what I did in detail:1. Fired up Firefox.2. I was logged in as DracoSelene89, and checked that by going to profile3. Closed out of the tab to check myy email4. Launched the tab again, for some reason, I am now logged in as Slender despite simply opening up the forum in a new tab. I did put @Slender in a post but that shouldn't, logically speaking, affect, it right?DracoOh, one more thing: This is happening on both FF and Chrome for me now...

I left my white glove at home...Seriously though, hopefully it stays fixed, I'm not having any script errors on latest Firefox though Dark, maybe try different browsers and see which work best? Chrome's giving me a metric ton of erros and a broken format with the site so I went back to FF to use the site as is.That, and I prefer FF as is. FF and NVDA/Orca suits me fine personally.

When this happened to me, it was with Chrome. I don't generally get logged out, but when you mentioned that soimetimes happening to you, perhaps it has something to do with active sessions not being correctly assigned to the right user/browser. But I could easily be mistaking.

For the hell of it I'll list what I'm running:Win10 64 bitLatest Firefox and Chrome with Adblock enabledNVDASophosMalwarebytesI don't see how anything could cause it however, I even tried logging out, and back in, in private mode in Firefox, got somebody else's account. Then I logged out, went to Chrome, same thing and there, interestingly, it wouldn't let me log in because it said the connection was not secure.There is something really, really weird going on here. and I'm curious as to what it is, I can't think of anything in my profile or the way I signed up that'd cause it, and I seem to be given random accounts that I get stuck with till I log out.On another note, I also randomly get logged out as well even if I set the remember me box to be checked, and yet I still have to log back in every so often.Draco

Hmm. I find this very interesting. You know, if this happened in almost any other forum, something bad would have probably happened by now. This forum seems to be filled with some of the most honest people on the internet. That being said, I am very curious as to what could be causing this, as it only seems to be effecting select individuals at the moment. I guess the occational random incident does occur, but it does seem to be those select people. I wonder what those people have in common.

One more...Not sure if it's because I'm logged in under another account, but the unread posts are going really, REALLY funky, it's showing new posts then giving me a list of topics that don't show any new posts at all, and the clock is strange given I'm logged in as...actually I've no clue who now.FWIW I tried loging in in private mode in Firefox and got another user as my account when I logged in that way, despite logging in to my actual account.Either way this is getting weirder and weirderI just hope nobody goes and gets logged into a mod or admin account by this issue, I'd hate for somebody with malicious intent to suddenly get logged into Sander or Dark's account for instance.DracoOh by the way I can confirm I believe I can get to other people's PMs and send from the logged in account too and change profile options, at least it loads the pages, n  idea if it actually saves changes, I don&

Every time this happened to me, for example, I ended up as DracoSelene89, then it seems as if he gets logged in with either Kara_Louise or Slender. BTW Sendermen posted quite a few times here, apparently they are trying to fix the issue, but it is rather odd all the same.

First, your account has not been hacked or your password stolen or anything of the kind, this seems to be a problem with accounts where when one person logs in they end up logging in with someone else's profile. Unfortunately since this seems to be a basic error with the forum code we need Richard or Sander to take a look at the background coding for the forum as I do not have access to it or the skills to fix it even if I did. I'm actually surprised they haven't responded to this topic themselves regarding the problem.

I also just got hit by this and got switched with Lirin (you can see a post where this happened in on #132 in the newest return of the king thread). Logging out of Lirin's account and signing into mine again seemd to have corrected it.

Our host has confirmed there were issues with an incomplete PHP upgrade which stored the sessions in the wrong place. We hope this solves some of the strange things on this forum, please let us know if this is still causing troubles.

I unfortunately did not get to register on the sites with the same engine the first time. Constantly formed some incomprehensible error. I think something wrong with my provider, we have to use proxy, but it is not always convenient.

Draco hereit keeps putting my posts under Carlitos name AGAIN, as seen in the DMPA topic in new releases, I made those posts and for whatever reason it loves to think I'm Carlitos.I am not. I can assure you. Any ideas guys?

and so the story continues... I was logged in as me, switched to the off topic room, checked a thread in there, switched back to general game discussion and... bam I was Karlitos. I don't know if this informations much help, but you can trigger this bug through switching rooms.

For some reason, up to today, I never got logged out, so I would normally just check new topics (without even looking at my actual profile). I only found something odd when I saw the number of posts per page not being what I left it as, then I remembered this topic, looked at the profile and found to my amazement that I was logged on as another person. Logging out and back in fixed it though.
