I'm using the XE-102 homeplug units from Netgear, and have not had any
problems. Performance on the 2 homeplug links is exactly the same as
on my 3 cat-5 linked SBs.
I'm getting 12.61 Mb/s on one link, 13.59 Mb/s on the other.
I'm also using a Netgear router, maybe this helps performance,

My Transporter arrived about an hour ago, so these are *extremely* early

I don't know about Benchmark and Mytek, but I know for a fact that the
Lavry is 120-240 50/60hz. You can use it in the UK by swapping out the
power cord or just using an adapter.
Look at the Lavry web site and contact them for distributor info -- I'm

If you price the materials at home depot 1st you will have an idea of
the electricians markup.
Some electricians will let you supply the materials and only charge you
labor. This could save you $ since many electricians don't keep 10guage
romex in stock and will charge you a premium for it.
I also rip immediately. I wouldn't even think about buying a CD anymore
if I couldn't rip it. I think this change is a revolutionary as the
remote control. How many of us ever get up to change the station
anymore?

My brother, a friend and myself went to Sevenoaks this morning as

currently enjoy the A3.24 ($600 US) very much over my high end Sony

data stream, u normally set it to RAW if using a Dolby Digital/DTS
receiver. If playing CD music, it defaults to PCM 16/44.1Khz anyway.

AVR-4800 converts the signal to digital. But I want to use the SB2's
dac! So I have to use the pre-in on the Denon. That's fine, except my
Oppo 971 needs that input too, for my dvd-audio discs... Hmmm...
