Oh yes, some make it vodoo! We have occasional earthquakes and tremors
around here and I've not heard any vibration when these occur, at least
when my power stays on. I would think that some cables made of
unobtanium would correct all the problems.

The power supply for the Transporter is internal. Here's a lengthy
thread that I believe towards the end it talks about a replacement
option since the original power supply is NLA.

So a fun experiment would be to do a double blind - set up by @Archimago

Don't know about a super duper power supply, but you might have a
problem adjusting the tracking weight on the space shuttle!

The Big Bang was actually the formation of a Black hole. That is how our
universe was created and we're (our universe) inside that black hole.
This allows time to go beyond the creation of our universe because the
collapsing star that created our universe existed in it's own universe
that our

The disgusting thing about age related hearing loss is it seems to
On the flip side (I believe in an effort to promote CD) take albums like
Dire Straits / Brothers in Arms (1985) where the CD is almost 8 minutes
longer than the vinyl. Or the original CD of Tom Petty / Full Moon Fever

where Tom

My car plays in the order the songs are recorded. It has a multidisc

order I expect to hear them in. The only other option I have is to set
playback to random.

have a effect on the music...
The test of disconnecting the SB player from the server doesn't really
prove that tweaking the server can't affect the sound.
Here's one way of describing why reducing tasks on the PC won't have any
effect on the music. The way Squeeze works is in effect copying a file
from one computer to another either over Ethernet or wifi. If the number
of tasks running at either end had a effect on the file our copies of

Given the same audio file on any of the mediums you're asking about you
should not be able to tell any difference in the sound from the Touch.
This is because this is just data being fed to the Touch which then
passes this on either through one of the digital or RCA outputs. When

The data is still being sent bit perfect. You have not altered the
music. What you have done is inserted about a 10Hz stutter into the
realtime stream, kind of like when you sing through a spinning fan. If
you do this same experiment doing a file copy rather than feeding a
realtime player, you
If you have a reliable wireless connection then there should be no
difference in the sound quality of a wired connection. Bits are bits.
If you have a bad wireless environment you could experience dropouts in
the music from buffer underruns.
