I didn't get a Digi+ Pro, but just got HiFiBerry's DAC+ standard up and running this afternoon. Added it to the Raspberry Pi 3 I got for Christmas. Made myself a little basement system with my aged LS3/5a clones and was very impressed with the improved sound quality of this DAC. Much better

Welll the Q is bit more complex , if you intend to do some post processing of the recordings it's good to have them as 24 bits when that's done you can convert to 16/48 and be done as it is as you say more than enough fidelity to store the vinyl recording. And you can be more generous with
