Try a true commercial operation, like Camden Airport, owned by a subsidiary
of the millionaires factory.
It costs us money even to push the tug out of the hangar. Add on the
'movement charge' for each flight plus the exorbitant rents, and I reckon
you've got nothing to whine about.

Hi,
I might be a bit of a luddite, but I wish that the new magazine format
retained the classifieds. I always turned to the classifieds page first to
see who was selling what, and to dreamhence my confusion when I stated
at the back of the mag as usual, and got to the front thinking that
I agree.
Another advantage is that keeping the magazine means that you have a history of
gliders that have come up for sale.
I have just put up an online ad (a beautiful Libelle). The ad cost is more than
$30 and it will disappear in 30 days if I don’t keep feeding it.
Bring ‘em back I say.
Those who want a printed magazine surely can
figure out how to get one if the magazine is
delivered to your PC as a pdf. Hint: It's called a printer.
You could even print it reduced size if you want
or at least the article/s you are interested in
and even save money by printing in black

Always such negativity!
Anyway, I'd like to add my voice to those who like and appreciate the
new magazine. I spend all day looking at a computer screen and have
no desire to do so for even longer when I get home. I'd much rather
sit down on the couch with a cup of tea and have a read through
I hadn't actually missed the classifieds in the new GA - although in
time I probably would have. In the past I used to see what glider
prices were, and become instantly disheartened, all the more so since
one could also make comparisons with what the other half of the soaring
fraternity
I personnaly like the hard copy mag (havent seen the new one yet as in
outback WA)
H. I'm 30 km from Sydney GPO and have not seen it either!

I understand that it uses commercial software which I expect could be adapted
for gliding use
If you use Joomla or other free CMS software, you can get add-ons for
things like classifieds and chat groups (like this one) for nix.
The only real costs is the hosting.

You are only saying this because you know in advance that your
postings would attract the most censoring… anon or not!
Anyway, I'm not anonymous.

This isn't a newsgroup, it's a mailing list.
