Thanks Eric and Rick for translation and information.
It looks like there is indeed a link to Sebastiana and Quitéria, as I'm

show him as Manuel Rodrigues Silvestre. I show nine children with three
obitos for
Manuel and Sebastianna from 1840 to 1858 in the Santa Cruz

Hi Julie,
Not sure what you mean by a line can't be traced "that" way.
1) Your strict female line would be your mother's mother's mother's
mother...all women all the way back ending with Sarah b. 1803. If you have
a man inserted there, it's not your STRICT female line.
2) Let's say Sarah, b. 18
Hi Cheri,
This begs a particular question from me in regards to the various tests.
I've researched a number of families I believe belong to me, but don't
have the definitive records to prove it, so DNA would be the only solution.
However, I've always understood the female line couldn't be tra

Hello Eric,
I'm not sure yet. Need more information from the OP to see if we have a
connection.
Could be as they both come from Flores and are descendants of Caetano,
Garcia and
Jacinto's settling in Massachusetts before coming to Northern California.
Eric, this is the line you and I spok
