Wow, I'm glad it's a bug and not something permanent! I'll try to find out
what is happening.

Jesse,
I am not sure if I ever contacted you! I am just going through my gedmatch
list and you are one of my top matches. You match me on my moms side of
the family who has mainly Ribeira Quente ancestors.
Reach out to me if you want to compare trees.

I do have people in that area, but have not worked on that area for a long
time. Maybe when I figure out who I should be looking for I could have you
look them up for me in the future.
Thanks for the information and the offer.

The only place you can view that list is in the book, *Notas Historicas *and
as far as I know it's not online anywhere. It may be at BYU? It's not at
FHL. Do you have Calheta, Sao Jorge people that you are missing? If you
give me some names, I can look them up in the index and see if they show up
Well,Marilyn, that all sounds great but I still can't view them with my
'regulard' non-LDS check-in. So, I'm going to talk to Mike Hall probably
next week and see why we can't view in our Family History Center. It seems
that we should be able to as it's an 'arm' of the Family History Library.
Ok Rosemarie I did not read all of your last post until just now. Where can
I find this list that you mentioned? There is another list in *Notas
Historicas* for Calheta.

Just need to add to the clarification. I just chatted with an agent at
Family Search.
I wanted to share the information I received:
When FamilySearch acquires a collection to put online, the record owner of

I remember being told about an area that slide off into the ocean. I do not
remember the time frame. At this moment I can not remember the name of the
area.
I believe some of my grandfather's family was from there.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Suzanne,
It would be good if you put a legend at the top for abbreviations. If a
Portuguese speaker ran some of that through a translator, they'd get "MIL"
is "THOUSAND." And those new to genealogy have no idea what some of that
means at all. Cheri

Indeed...
Just to clarify:
1. Microfilms will no longer be orderable on a FHC - last day is August
31st (9 days from now). Presumably, they won't throw them away, at least
maybe until the reader breaks down.
2. Current access on the Internet will not change. It will remain exactly
as it is
It helps greatly. I have a feeling I am going to have to go back through
records and make sure I recorded them separately. :) *facepalm*
Thank you.
