Hi Pat,
I believe my cousin has been in touch with you already as she is starting
her research on her dads side. I have been trying to help her as well.
I saw this post and perhaps you have already found much more by now.
You said in this message that you didn't have much info on the Rosa's .
Rico,
I will do the same.

Hi Deb,
The Rosa Silvina/Silveira/Margarida that is in my family married Jose
Francisco da Rosa Martins. He was born in 1874 in Feteira. Her parents,
however, were de Sousa. I am not sure there is a match there, but I will
keep this in mind as I continue my research.

Hi Rico,
I am Deb McCabe, the Deb that my prima Pat mentioned in the post you
referenced. I wanted to reach out to see if we can figure out if we are
related.
I have two possible connections in my tree. Either could be the Rosa Silvia

Rico,
The records for Feteira, Faial are online at the Centro de Conhecimento dos
Acores (CCA). Also, they are semi-indexed on the CITCEM site.
Go to CITCEM here: http://www.ghp.ics.uminho.pt/genealogias.html

I just stumbled upon this post, as I am new to the group. I have Martins
from Feteira, Faial in my family as well, and I am not finding much more on
that part of the family. Rosa Silvina Martins (b 1898 - ?, married to
Rufino Silveira de Faria), and her mother Rosa Silvia Martins (AKA Rosa

Cheri,
I already have an email prepared for her. I did respond to that one. I
believe she is busy, so I wanted to be patient and
polite. This my first real live match!
Thank you, Maraget and Diane.

Sandra P,
I'd email the wife of the match and ask her to change it for you. Since
it's coming from a personal account, she's the only person who can change
the way it is being sent to you. A Google Group List can't change the way
the email is being sent to you. Sorry! Cheri

Cheri,
It is information in an email sent to by buy the wife of my match. She
sent screen shots of the tree on
Ancestry.com and text docs. I can view screen shots, but not the docs. I
thought Imight have to do
something extra to my gmail account.
By the way, this match is the one you referred
Sandra P,
I don't understand what you are trying to read. The genealogy records are
online at the CCA and are not text documents. I always ask for people to
post the URL to the web site to avoid any problems since we all have
different operating systems on our end.
Cheri
Cheri Mello
Listowner,
I cannot read google docs (blank) sent to me. Of course, I have a google
account for
my gmail. Is there something else I have to do to access the text docs?

Hi Cheri,
I had to share this with you! Four years ago I saw a post on the Azores
Google Group asking if anyone had Martins from Feteira Faial in their
tree. I was so excited because I did and it had been a dead end. I
