Madelena, Pico.
In a search of the NEPS
There is a George Jesse in that picture, I wonder if this is the same Jesse
family I remember growing up in North Plymouth. George had a wife Maryann.
It was said that my grandfather Joesph Furtado and George Jesse were
cousins from a family connection back in the Azores but I do not have

Name was Francis, but on her marriage record the sister of atleast one of
them was listed as Silva.

You've got names and places, but you'll need to provide some dates or ranges
for others to help you.
Yes, Frank is Francisco in Portuguese. Jesse is Jacinto or Jacintho many
times. Francis would be Francisca. All common names.
