Hi Margaret,
On that parish page there's a link on the left (under Relevant links) for
the Associação dos Amigos da Torre do Tombo. The page it opens is a search
into the indexes for marriages in all the parishes of Lisbon.
Other than that, I'd recommend that you search for the book index
Hi Cheri,
I think I mentioned this recently, but the first time that Portugal
established spelling rules was in 1910. There wasn't really any 'proper'
spelling before that. So yes, 'Agada' and 'Agueda' being phonetically the
same name should be regarded as the same (same with Hanna, Anna,
Shirley; Thank you! This takes me another generation back. Anyone else out
there who would care to take a look and see if you can fill in the question
marks or any other information in this record?

Linda J,
I don't. But make sure you have the spelling as Ponta Delgada in your
genealogy program. That way, when we share data, the export/import will go
smoothly!

Did you find a marriage record for Manuel Ferreira and Maria Furtado in Relva?
It would give details on their parents, etc.

Hi,
Source is from the CCA records, same link as you provided above which I had
anteriorly researched. Reading from the left side of the record their
names are 5 lines below the blotted area and can be clearly seen. It also
says the brides mother was already deceased.
Hope this helps.
On Tue,
Sorry, was short 1 answer: Descendent of their daughter Maria de Rezendes
married to Manuel Homem Rebelo Nov 22 1778, S. Pedro Nordestinho.
Antonia was born April 26 1768 and baptised on May 2nd 1768, in case you
may not have it yet.

Pam,
When I first researched, I worked primarily in Maia. For the most part
these people settle in Maia and stayed there. The people of Achada are
different. Right from the start I have ancestors from different villages.
