Thank you Phillipe (once again). Consenso (Consenço) is what it looks like
but I couldn't find and example of it being used as a given name. I expect
you are correct.

Thank You Margaret. What I was trying to do is to make sure I did not have this
couple confused with another couple and the records you provided clears that
up.

Rick, did a bit of digging, below are Luzia and her sister Maria birth
records. Note the parents name changes from Rodrigues at Luzia's birth in
1783 to Araujo at her sister's birth in 1788.
Luzia, top left.
Susan it is in the middle of the 4th line. Sesanta e trez annos the second s
looked like a t so I was thinking it was trenta e trez. Thirty years is a big
difference.

Ok that clears up that. I guess I am lucky their marriage wasn’t in the missing
records.
Thank You Margaret.

Thanks.
Rick the obit says she was 63 years old at death, SeSenta e tres anos.
That would place her birth about 1781.

Hi Margaret
I was looking at this Obit :

Left side bottom entry. Did I misread the age of Luisa? I see 33 years old.
If the marriage you provided is the
Rick,
Didn't really get all of what you are trying to say but there is a marriage
for Luzia and Francisco de Pimentel in Porto Formoso, right side. They
were married Feb 15 1816.
In one of our early maternal deaths, the mother died and the baby died 10
months later.

I did not check the obits but the baptismal records were available from 1840 to
the time of her death which I checked and found no children born but now
thinking about it I should look past her death date in case a baby was born and
later died. Thanks.

I googled my great grand mother’s name ( Nunes )and came across a thread
with past relatives of her husband Antonio Noia! My great grand father
naturally. Wow. It also lists their three children, my great aunt & uncle
and my grandmother. Very interesting. It
Hi Rick,
Just curious if there is an obit around the time of Luzia's obit for her baby?
Possible some info on it if there is one. 33 yr old death for a female could be
childbirth related. It was in my family.

Nancy Jean
