Monica,
Something tells me we're related. Like I said all of the Revoredo's in the
Capelas were related. If you wish, pm me your mom's name and her parents
named and I can certainly confirm if my suspicions are accurate.

Hi there,
I'm a Revoredo born in Sao Miguel. As this name is not very common...basically
all of us Revoredo's are pretty much all related. You will have luck searching
the town of Capelas in Sao Miguel.
Hope this is helpful.

hi there,
I could use a fresh set of eyes to try to decipher these records. The top one
"Joaquin" belongs to my great, great grandfather and there are no parents
listed ...record no.31. I also noted that the records 32 and 33 are also void
of parents. I'm wondering if they are all related and
ber 3,748 baptized in the church.

hi there, once again, I can't make out the writing. I'm specifically interested
in the grandparents of Rosa...their names and where they're from.
It's the record on the left.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. May it be filled with peace and joy!

hello everyone,
I'm having difficulty reading this marriage certificate. The script is throwing
me off.
Can anyone lend me some assistance. If I'm reading this correctly, these two
maybe cousins. I can't decipher anything when it comes to the names especially
jacintha's name and paternity.
Thank you so much Cheri!
Are these women one in the same?

Hi there,
I sent a previous message and forgot to attach the link! Yikes!
I've been trying to decipher this marriage record. Alexandre's father's name is

mother are from esta freguesia. It's written oddly. If you

I've been doing some research on the Portuguese slave trade. My reason for
doing so is because I took a big interest in this as every time I've gone
to either the USA or the Carribean I'm always asked if I'm mixed.
The first time I was asked this question was over 20 years ago in Jamaica

Hi all,
Not sure if you're all aware but I just found out that Al Gore is of
Azorean decent. 8th great grandfather was surname Medeiros from the Azores.
You probably already knew...lol. I just found this out and was fascinated.

Hi all,
I'm not sure if you've come across this in your genealogy endeavours but
I'll just share this here with you.
