The original iMP version of the iPlayer was able to copy the programmes to a
mobile device.
I can transfer TV recorded by the Windows Media Center to my Lobster
portable device, but I can't see how to do this with the iPlayer as you
could before.
Has this facility been removed?

project, presumably using MHEG5.
I quite like the idea of using the "opportunistic data" facility - bandwidth
that becomes usable in a "lumpy" way due to the way MPEG2/MPEG4 works. If
