Hi, I am quite new to bacula and try to use it on NetBSD with an ADIC Autochanger (DLT). With NetBSD, I can use chio to talk to the autochanger - the DLT-Drive can be accessed via /dev/nst0, the changer with /dev/ch0, no problem, chio and mt can work with it. I configured bacula-sd.conf so that

We have two tape drives, connected to the same box. When I request the status of one of the corresponding storage devices, I get the status of both returned - is this how it should be? Also, the name of the storage device isn't shown for the jobs - only the device names on the sd box. So, unless

Yes, it requires a lot of memory if you have a huge number of files. If you cannot get enough memory (i.e. enough swap space), then about the only solution is to select a different restore option to enter the filenames one at a time or create a file with a list of the names. OK, I'll try

We've been using bacula for several months to backup a few terabytes to Super AIT-1. We just upgraded our backup server to actually be able to keep up with the data rates the drives support so I figure now is a good time to actually mention that, yes, it does work with this Qualstar
