I don't have time for the complete answer it sounds like you need, but I can at least point you in the right direction. Roughly what you need to do is use 'list media' to find the oldest volume - ie, the one that was written to least recently. You can then use the 'delete' command in

Check the compression of gzip make sure your getting the files compressed. May slow down the backup process but if it's space you are worried about it will help tremendously. And also, Bacula will always stay at full capacity no matter if the job is pruned. Unless you MANUALLY delete the volume
