Hi Berenice This comes from your BASEfile. The assay header in the spots section should be tab separated. It looks like you are using a space instead. /Johan On 9 jan 2008, at 17.48, Bérénice WULBRECHT wrote: Hi, I installed BASE 2.5 and migrate data from my BASE 1. I have bug when I

Hi Bob, Just wanted to tell you that I've successfully executed the clustering from Base1. As you mentioned the export wrote the external id wrong. It should be reporterId. It has been fixed in the Base2.4 branch. /Johan 12 sep 2007 kl. 13.36 skrev Bob MacCallum: > > [note: minor bug rep

Thanks Johan. I fully realise the lack of equivalents to clust_*.phtml in BASE2 - we were hoping to use the PNGs for our own purposes. I already tried to export the parameter config from BASE1 and get tab-delimited text. I was just hoping I don't have to convert that to XML manually... Ah... n

a) I don't know how memory efficient MeV is but isn't memory always an issue when clustering? b) But imagine a future where MeV actually stores data back to BASE! I think this may become doable as a part of the web services development in BASE 2.5. I would like to go even further where users c

I knew someone was going to ask that... Because a) I tried it and get out-of-memory errors on a 1GB Mac clustering a relatively modest experiment (12 hybs x 20k spots). We will have users in developing nations with much less computing power than that. b) Anything done in MeV is not store

Hj Bob, The clustering from Base1 will not work in Base2. Or more precisely, you will be able to run the plugin but you wont be able to se the result. The visualization page in Base1 was a specific php page for that plugin and we didn't want a solution like that in Base2. When you configur

About the plugin executer: The plugin executer was created (as the name suggest) as a bridge for base1 plugins and not as a generic way of executing none java plugins. As for now we don't have the recourses to evolve it in that direction, the first priority is to get it to work with existing pl
