There are absolutely no entries in either log files. There is nothing wrong with my setup. Either or. If your setup is ok, then you'll have at least a few lines about what version your running etc. in the log files. If they're really empty, then you're probably looking at the wrong files.

Is it _completely_ random where it fails? Your scanner log should at least give an indication of which file it was scanning (or just finished scanning). See if you can detect any kind of pattern. Personally, I would start by seeing whether or not it's a particular file or files being scanned

The + key on the keypad works on my keyboard to bring up context menus, while the + above the = does not. But navigation using the up and down arrow keys doesn't work at all, so it's tough to use within lists. And once you bring up the CM, not being able to navigate the menu using up and down
