A clear and rescan logs into server.log a rescan 4 cjanges into
scanner.log (didnt i post a scanner.log that shows playlist and the
timestamp matches the postdate)
Maybe it's about what tool you are using ? Does the time stamps changes
when you edit the file ?

Just for the record and the reason I went quiet on this:
Yesterday I agreed with frank1969 that any changes made to a playlist
using an external editor wasn't picked up doing a "New & Changed" or
"Playlist only" scan.
Today I cannot repeat this, changes made to a playlist are now being
picked up
I think only the full Scan creates the log . The partial scans log to
the server.log ?
There was some change years ago i don't get the full details of it ?

This is really strange...
I am on Linux using 7.9.0 - 1459712283
I'd copied a playlist to some playlist lms already

A bug that seems to be in since several weeks:
CHANGED playlists are NOT recognized (neither in a "new and changed
scan" nor in a "Playlists only" scan).
NEW playlists and DELETED playlists are recognized and handled fine, but
changed ones aren't recognized at all.
Thanks for caring! :-)
