The Cattle Egret is still present today
Apologies for the late posting — last Sunday afternoon I had a Nashville
Warbler at Leslie St. Spit, about 200m south of the kiosk in some bushes on the

I had about 15-20 Snow Buntings further south on

The Cattle Egret was being seen very well from the parking lot of the
Carruthers Creek Golf Course at 12:30 today.
Directions: Take Lakeridge Road south from Bayly St. in Whitby, then take the
first right turn into the Golf Course. Park in the gravel parking lot and look
north.

We are looking at what seems to be a good candidate for juvenile
Yellow-billed Loon below niagara falls. It has a noticeably larger and much
paler bill than the nearby common loons, which it isn't associating with.
It is browner and paler overall and the head pattern seems to be right.
Noticeable
Sorry, Dufferin Islands is SOUTH of the falls (upriver)

This morning I looked for the Brant seen by Martin Parker last week and found
it feeding on the grass beside the boat launch in Burleigh Falls. The entrance
to the parking lot is just north of the bridge at the falls on Highway 28.
On the way home I found the Snow Goose which has been seen on
