This morning I did a short walk on The Toronto Islands. I only birded Wards and
Snake Islands and just viewed Snug Harbour from Wards.
There has been a movement of a few Warblers and Flycatchers down there. All
seen are just about on schedule for The Islands.

Hamilton Harbour. My wife and I, along with my parents, observed the

Visited the Embrun lagoons this afternoon, there were three Red-headed
ducks, one drake and two females. The Common Moorhens now have many young
along the sides, there are also American Coots with their young. The

Today, at around noon, while birding with Tony Beck, there was a juvenile
Red-necked Phalarope swimming around in one of the cells at Casselman Lagoons.
Also seen at the lagoons (though not much shorebird habitat), there was a small

I meant to enter Horned Grebe, not Red-necked Grebe, for the bird I saw at
the Embrum Lagoons today.
