Well, I’d encourage you to open an issue on GitHub if we had found a reliably reproducible bug or if others were running into the same problem, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Other things we could try: 1. Create a new user on your system. Open some PDFs and/or create some documents in Pages and see if that user experiences the same problem. If it seems fine, try to find out what’s different about your account. 2. I could make a special version of QS that adds tons of logging in that code to try and discover where it breaks down. (I don’t know when I’d have time for that.) 3. You could build QS yourself and step through that code. I’d be happy to walk you through it if you’re willing to try. -- Rob McBroom http://www.skurfer.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group. All I can say at this point is to make absolutely sure you’re running the latest version of Quicksilver (which should be 1.5.7 right now). -- Rob McBroom http://www.skurfer.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group. Thanks for taking the time to help. Yes, I have these files, they do contain ten similar blocks of xml-looking data, and they are modified after I open a new document (I just opened a new PDF with Preview and com.apple.preview.sfl2 was updated). - Mathieu > On Feb 20, 2018, at 05:55, Rob McBroomwrote: > > On 19 Feb 2018, at 15:09, Mathieu Daëron wrote: > > Under Preferences/Catalog/User/Recent Items, I have 10 recent documents (e.g, > several PDF's) and 10 recent applications (e.g., Preview). If you look in `~/Library/Application Support/com.apple.sharedfilelist/com.apple.LSSharedFileList.ApplicationRecentDocuments/`, do you see any `.sfl2` files corresponding to the applications in question? These are binary property lists and looking at their contents with human eyes is unlikely to tell you much (other than the number of entries), but if you can see if the size is greater than 0 and the modified time is recent, that will at least tell us if your system is recording the information in the first place. -- Rob McBroom http://www.skurfer.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group. Under Preferences/Catalog/User/Recent Items, I have 10 recent documents (e.g, several PDF's) and 10 recent applications (e.g., Preview). But if I invoke Preview and press right-arrow, nothing happens. - M > On Feb 19, 2018, at 16:47, Rob McBroomwrote: > > On 19 Feb 2018, at 4:14, mathieu.dae...@gmail.com wrote: > >> I deleted all Quicksilver-related files and preferences, uninstalled >> Quicksilver, re-installed a fresh version of v1.5.7, rebooted my computer. >> When I invoke an application (e.g. Pages, or TeXShop, or TextEdit) and type >> right-arrow, nothing happens, even though I have recent documents in the >> "File" menu of each application.
