In the AVG test centre, press control f4. The complete test settings dialogue box appears. If you tab, you should hear scan files without interruptions. Make sure this check box is unchecked in order to see the alerts. If this is not the case, press space. Finally, tab to OK and press enter.

Ok. this is very very odd but here goes. I signed up for a site with very great deals. Everyone but me can access the stores on said site. I've made sure my pop up blocker is disabled and that java script is enabled. I also checked my hosts file and nonthing is wring theer. I get a 404 error

Strange. What happens if you use the Ins. + Esc. key combination that's supposed to make Jaws 'refresh' it's virtual buffer? Another thing to try out is to use the 'View' menu, and choose 'Source' and see if the page is actually loading as a blank, or whether it's only really the screenreader
