What I do is to install flash on Firefox but not IE. That way if I am having trouble with one, I can go to the other. Starting with Adobe Flash Player 9, you can select the browsers you want to install it in. I don't think there is a way to turn it off in JAWS. D.La Caille wrote: hi all. i

I wish I had a better answer! Deploying sites with Flash, even when no audio or video is involved, is getting very popular. Flash is very difficult for any screen reader. In some cases it is impossible for screen readers, no matter what they do. Even the tracking of the JAWS cursor (mouse)

I think you are at the point in the installation where IE 7 or 8 will have an alert in the Information Bar. This is another security feature that Microsoft added for your protection so sites can not install ActiveX or other add-ons without your permission. Try the following at that point: 1
