you find it annoying as most people do, I recommend downloading the free
NVDA screen reader which has a number of different Sapi 4 and 5 voices to

more appropriate) to your favorite Star Trek episodes. Just visit
Youtube.com, locate the search edit field by pressing E (assuming you're
using JAWS), and type in something like Star Trek-Next Generation.
You may have inadvertently engaged the muting funtion, which will silence
the audio. Pressing F7 toggles the muting on and off, so try this and see
if your sound comes back.
