I thought it is set at Grade 2 by default. The easiest solution is to call
Duxbury; their telephone representatives are usually very helpful.

Hello all. My friend uses the Duxbury Translating software to emboss braille.
Can someone please tell me whether there is a command to easily convert from
braille grade 1 to braille grade 2 or vice versa. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Let me see if I can help.
Once the document is in duxbury, you must translate the the file by pressing
CTRL T, there it is in braille but if it isn't in grade two, please proceed
by pressing alt key followed by the number 2.
The 2 I am referencing is under the function keys.
