Dan, do you know the folks who will be pointing up your house ? if it
is possible to have someone watch to make sure they wet the bricks
first. otherwise those dry bricks will suck the moisture out of the
cement to fast and that job will not last as long. I've got a Senior

It says right in the contract that they will wet down the house prior to
pointing.
Also, several of my neighbors have used this same guy and their mortar
joints look fine.
Lastly, I had another guy give me a quote on the pointing work. He
mentioned several times how good of a job
The floor is done! Over the holiday weekend I finally finished the
livingroom floor. I put in the last five rows of hardwood, then got all
the trim nailed in. With the couch now pushed all the way up against the
front wall, the room is noticeably larger.
