I think I have a water level probe issue in the steam boiler on my ~3
month old Brewtus IV-R. This started happening after I had the machine
off for ~5 days. At first the pump would run intermittently and now it
just runs constantly when the machine is on.
If both the water and steam wand valves a
Sure enough! It wasn't the probe wire itself, it was the yellow/green
ground wire connector on the control box!

It's reattached and the pump is no longer running constantly - the
machine is coming up to temp - hopefully everything stabilizes.
More as it happens...

Thanks again, Todd. I did what you described last night. Everything
seems normal now. -Ben

I have been using the VST 18g ridged basket for a few months - it's worked
really well with the beans I get from a local roaster here in north
We had an overpressure event this evening that ended up making the temp (as
read on my non-original blue PID) go so far up that caused over-pressure
and tripped the GFCI probably due to some water overflow. I turned it back
on and I watched the pid climb in excess of 130ÂșC before I shut it off.
mp I'd say it's the pressurestat.
