The question is why the Cygwin installation in XP works excellently for me, using the latest teTeX packages and lilypond 2.4.3-1? However, on Linux machine where I had compiled LilyPond myself, I noticed that it didn't work when I had compiled against the kpathsea from an old teTeX version 1.07
