As a software developer myself, I can definitively state that the HRD software is not at fault here. If there is no command in the FT-991A that will perform the functionality, it cannot do it. I use HRD myself for occaisional remote connections, and there are a couple things I can't do on an

I had a similar issue with them some 4-5-6 years ago. I tried the demo and it would never get to where you could enter anything. The screen was there but you could not log anything in Demo mode. They told me to resolve the issue reformat my hard drive and reinstall windows. It should work

Shannon, I’ve used Ham Radio Deluxe for many years. I’ve always found their customer service and their software to be first rate. Digital Gain is usually just a simple setting in Yaesu Radios. Why not just set it manually, leave it there and take advantage of the many other features available
