Hey All,
Meant to report this before. On Thursday, a beautiful male Northern Harrier
flew over the road into the field across from the airport on Warren Road. I
have seen a female there at least three times. Would be neat if they breed
there.

Derby Hill recorded 7 golden eagles yesterday. They also recorded over 100
chickadees moving. This is interesting, as 2 weeks ago, while at Fair Haven

Hi Mark et al,
So, Dave Nutter and I led a group of intrepid birders for Spring Field
Ornithology along the Wilson Trail at Sapsucker Woods this morning, between
7:30 and 9 Am, in the TEEMING RAIN! And, we saw next to NOTHING in the way of
birds! So, Mark, good for you! And ...
Ken, The first two Palm Warblers I reported at the Swan Pen were both
western. I thought I mentioned that in one of my posts.

Well, I simply couldn't being myself to join the bird club's Dryden Lake trip

that did were amply rewarded. But I did go there at 4:00 this afternoon with
the sun finally shining. I walked the length of

Lucky for us Jay and Andrew
As Marie described, the weather at Dryden Lake was terrible this
morning. There were three of us and we did see about 40 Common
Mergansers and a couple Canada Geese on the water. We talked about
hanging out under one of the pavilions for awhile, but it was truly
dismal with the rain and
Well, not quite nothing. The list for our SFO group for the morning comes to 48 species, plus 4 more leader-only species, but it's true we had a long wet walk around the pond with little to show for it. Then we went inside to dry off a bit as the rain subsided. Clearly we would have done well to
