I haven't been to Summerhill in several months and thought this would
be the perfect afternoon to take a walk up Salt Road. It was REALLY
quiet! After 2+ miles of walking, I came up with only a few

I will be leading a field trip for the Cayuga Bird Club up Cayuga Lake

Hi all,
Today’s northwesterly winds produced the first notable push of Common Loons
over Cayuga Lake. In total, Bill Evans and I counted 415 flying south and 25
north from the loon watch location at Taughannock. The first wave (birds
lifting off Cayuga Lake further north) was considerably small
Just counted 132 Ruddy Ducks at Stewart Park. Probably more. 10:30 am.

were spared from the storm. Beach drive has 2 feet of sand covering it but they
are OK.
