My neighbor in downtown Ithaca has had an indigo bunting in her yard for 2 days
now. I have yet to see it but she has shared photos. Will be a yard bird if I
manage to see or hear it.

I just had my first ever Oriole at my feeders here in Dryden. Just as I
was taking photos of the Oriole an Indigo Bunting showed up for a few
nice photos.
I just did better in five minuted that Meg and I did all afternoon at MNWR.

For the past 3-4 days I have had an Indigo Bunting at my feeders. 2 days ago, 2
INBUs were on the feeders. I thought that was really neat. Then today about 15
minutes ago, there were 3 Indigo Buntings at my feeders!! That was really cool!
Stay healthy!

We've had more orioles this year at our orange feeder (and sometimes peanut
feeder) than ever - at least 4 males and 3 females. They also perch on our
window mullions and are often sitting in the bushes near the feeders. I
hope this is because they're having a great year as a species. Also we've
Just saw a Cape May warbler along the red trail at Monkey Run south. With other

Inspired by Dave Nutter's post about warblers along the Black Diamond

More mild aggressive displays than I have ever seen. Catbirds doing a cute

This morning just before 9am Jay McGowan sent a text rare bird alert about a
Black Tern among the swallows off Stewart Park. I arrived a little over an hour
later. On my first scope scan of the lake I saw plenty of swallows and
cormorants but no black tern. After an unsuccessful binocular scan,

At about 5:30 tonight, as I walked around our half acre pond, I scared up a

flew up in front of me, which startled me, and it flew 50 feet directly away
from me heading for a pine tree. It flew into the pine, but I co
