a pair C MERGS, MALLARDS, 1 OSPREY on Salt Point nest, w/a second (male?)
OSPREY hovering in air looking for fish.

I waited in vain from 4:00 - 6:30
Ken and I went out along the lake this morning, stopping at East Shore
Park, Myers Pt and Long Point.
A single BRANT and a COMMON LOON were out on the water at East Shore Park,
but we did not find any Scoters. At Myers Point, the PURPLE SANDPIPER was
still busily probing away, this time out near t
Early this morning at Myers Point, while photographing a pair of HORNED
GREBES in breeding plumage at the mouth of Salmon Creek, a pair of HOODED
MERGANSERS suddenly flew in and landed in front of me, pursued closely by a
PEREGRINE FALCON. The Peregrine made a swipe at the male, but was
unsuccessfu
I stopped at Myers Pt. at 0730h and found 3 (un) Solitary Sandpipers, at least
4 Spotted Sandpipers and a Least Sandpiper. A Great Blue Heron was fishing off
the spit when I drove up. Also present were Barn, Tree, and Rough-winged
Swallows and Greater Black-backed Gulls. The far parking lot
